Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe bed mattress was too hard for me and my son.
Great location, near Metro access, 10 minutes walk to Czech president’s grave Václav Havel, 10 minutes walk to Jewish cemetery to grave Franz Kafka. Next door the building of Radio Free Europe. Over the road supermarket, Chinese restaurant, Zelva bar with very cheap and good Czech beer less then 2€ per pint. Every morning and evening live piáno or saxophone music on the entrance venue. Breakfast was excellent, all hotel was well maintenanced and noise proof building. Very polite staff and guests. Transport 40 minutes to the airport by metro and bus cost 1€ or tickets 5€ (120Kc) for 24 hours, kids up to 15 years going for free.

From the very beginning, the reception team made me feel truly welcome. David, Jan, and Ivan went above and beyond with their service Thank you, guys. The rooms are spacious, beautifully furnished, and spotlessly clean. The housekeeping team does an amazing job and deserves real recognition. Breakfast was one of the best parts of my stay. Even though the hotel was busy, there were no waiting times, which is rare. Most hotels struggle between 9 and 10 in the morning, but not here. Everything ran smoothly, and it was clear the staff worked hard to create a relaxed start to the day. I also loved that breakfast runs from 6:00 to 11:00, which is unusual and shows that the management truly cares about giving guests value for their money. There are two restaurants and a cocktail bar inside the hotel. Prices are very reasonable, the atmosphere is great, and it felt good to be able to dine and have a drink right on site. There are also game rooms, and live music during breakfast and dinner added a special touch every single day. The spa is wonderful. I had the best massage of my life with Mrs. Amy — it was deeply relaxing and helped me reset completely. Parking in the basement was convenient and fairly priced too. For business, this hotel is excellent. Conference rooms are well equipped, and every guest room has fast and reliable internet along with a comfortable desk. I was able to take high-quality video calls without any issues. The location is also fantastic. Right outside the hotel you have metro and tram stops, and in just 10 minutes you’re in the city center. In Prague you never wait long for public transport, and having that right at the doorstep was a huge plus. What really stood out to me is that this hotel puts people first and money second. That’s exactly why, after 10 visits to Prague, I finally know which place I’ll be coming back to.

United StatesThe entrance and exit to the on-site parking garage was a little challenging. I have a kia telluride and it was extremely tight entering and exiting the garage. I scrapped my mirrors going in to the garage. Keep that in mind for families with larger vehicles.
Loved how easy the check-in process was and locating the hotel. Once we checked in, we went straight up to the room and was able to relax!

United KingdomThe only downside was our room being right next to the elevator, which was a bit noisy at night—but that’s what earplugs are for 😉
We had a lovely stay here! We were upgraded to an executive room for our anniversary and even got a complimentary bottle of wine, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a great bed and a shower that had excellent pressure and piping hot water. The location is slightly out of the city centre, but with Prague’s fantastic public transport system, we could reach anywhere we wanted in about 20–30 minutes without any hassle. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was absolutely superb—such a wide selection and everything fresh. I’d read about the "elevator issues" (longer waiting time at busy periods) before booking, but honestly on the few occasions we used the stairs, it was a good excuse to burn off some of that breakfast! 😂 Overall, highly recommend!

LatviaThere was an issue with elevators that caused discomfort. We had a room on the 6th floor and had to wait for the elevator to stop for too long or the elevator did not stop at all.
The hotel is very well decorated and creates an amazing atmosphere throughout the stay. We enjoyed breakfasts with live piano playing, cosy sauna, comfortable room, and executive lounge. The restaurant on the 1st floor served high-quality meals that left us highly satisfied! The whole experience was fantastic! The location is perfect so you can reach the city centre in 10 minutes by car and are not disturbed by a loud crowd during the night hours.

IsraelThe room was very basic, with the TV loosing connection once in the while, and the kids beds were a bit on the narrow side.
The stuff was very friendly and helpful, they gave extra attention to the kids by providing a toiletry kit for the kids and a bottle of juice for them. And gave us some vouchers for complimentary drinks at the hotel bar, and we even received a complimentary bottle of wine :-) The breakfast was excellent as well. And the hotel is right next to the metro station, so it was super convenient. The hotel also has a great piano, and the lobby looks great.

SpainThe lift system is woefully inadequate. It is a big hotel with 12 floors and there are only 4 lifts, (one of which was under repair). We were on the 6th floor but still chose to use the stairs most of the time. The bar prices are far too expensive, so much so that it basically forces you to go elsewhere to drink..
The hotel is clean and comfortable, the reception staff were magnificent and the breakfast was outstanding. The location of the hotel seems to be a little remote, but there are bus stops, tram stops and a metro station right outside. The local transport system is very effective and with the metro running every few minutes it took us around 15 mins to get to the old town and was never a problem.
