We are sorry to hear about your experience; however, our check-in and reception hours are clearly stated on all booking platforms, including Booking.com, as well as on our website. Check-in is possible until 22:00, and our reception closes at 23:00. Unfortunately, arriving after these times makes it impossible for our team to assist with late check-ins. Moreover, our reception staff has tried to contact you prior to your arrival and stated the operating hours, but we didn't receive any reply from you in a timely manner before the reception closed down for the night. We totally understand that the uphill walk from the tram station can be a bit inconvenient, and that’s why we always recommend using the nearby metro station, Jiřího z Poděbrad, which is easier to access and well-connected to the rest of the city. Our team members work hard to assist all guests, and in this case, our receptionist followed standard procedure. As clearly stated in our listing, our check-in time is from 15:00. While we always try to accommodate early arrivals when possible, this cannot always be guaranteed, especially when rooms are still being prepared for incoming guests. However, we sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced with cleanliness and heating. This is certainly not the standard we strive for, and we will address these concerns with our cleaning team immediately. However, the heating is automatically switched off in Prague if the temperature outside is above 15 degrees, unfortunately, we do not have an influence on that. Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your stay wasn’t as expected. We’re always working to improve, and your comments about cleanliness will certainly be taken into consideration. It is prohibited to smoke inside the rooms, however we do not police our guests and, unfortunately, people's behavior can vary. As a budget hostel, we provide 1 towel per guest while preparing the room, and our reception staff is always willing to give more upon request. As a historical building, we, unfortunately, do not have an elevator, and this information is publicly displayed multiple times in the description of the hostel.
