Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe bathroom got a little hot as the extractor fan did not stay on for very long and you had to keep turning it on every minute or so the bathroom did get hot and stuffy. But if you like a steamy bathroom, then this is fine!
This hotel is a great location, about 12 minute walk from the Old Town Square. It also has good public transport connections of a tram and bus. Very comfortable hotel room with comfy beds and pillows. The room was a great size, as was the bed. The breakfast was fabulous with lots of choice each morning.

IrelandIf your room is by the elevators / stairs there is quite a loud echo during the day with people coming and going.
Hotel is well located, quite close to the river and about a 20 minute stroll to the old town. There is also the Palladium shopping centre within a 10 minute walk for any last minute shopping. Rooms were spotless but some were a little dated decor wise. WiFi was strong and signal never dropped. Breakfast was great, fresh every morning, with plenty of tables and chair for groups. There is a little lobby bar where you can get happy hour drinks. The staff were the highlight of my stay - everyone my friends and I interacted with was friendly and so helpful, from answering questions to helping us arrange reservations in restaurants and booking trips.

SwedenI've booked two rooms on the 9th floor, both with balkony. Both rooms were very spacious, the balkonies added a lot of enjoyment to our visit. The rooms are fully equipped - electric water kettle for tea, a coffee machine, small freezer with standard mini-bar consumables, but with space for your own soft drinks and some pastries. 'Consumables' are refilled every day by the staff - coffee capsules for coffee machine, small bags of instant coffee, small containers with coffee cream, small variety of tea bags. Plenty of room for your clothes. Bathrooms were beautiful and fully equipped. The beds are comfortable, but could be a little bit softer - question of personal taste. The pillows are the only thing I would suggest for hotel management to consider improving - they were large and adequate, but they seem to be filled with single large lump of synthetic material, which makes them somewhat difficult to "form" according to your preference. The fact that I am even mentioning it should actually be an indication of how great this hotel really is. The breakfast... I'd say that it was above average 'default' fare you're used to finding in business hotels. If the hotel itself is truely excellent, its location is even better. It is located on a quiet side street, close to the river. One of our rooms had partial view of Vltava, which made it somewhat cooler, especially during the evenings. Within 100 meters of hotel entry there are two mini-markets (one open until midnight) as well as an excellent café. Revolution street is about 300 meters away. The trams passing through it will get you to every tourist attraction in Old and New Town - tram 6 is four stops from Vaclavske Namesti, tram 15 is two stops from Malostranska, from where you can get to the castle. The piers where you can find all the river tour boats are 15 minutes walk from the hotel entry.

IrelandI couldn't turn off the air con in my room but that was more my fault because I was too lazy to ask reception how to use it! 😅
Reception staff were very friendly, helpful & welcoming. They had good English as well so there were no issues communicating. The bed was so, so comfortable & the hotel was quiet at night. The breakfast selection was great. You can order drinks from reception & some of the wine is from a local vineyard. The cavernet sauvignon was delicious!

United StatesFelt uncertain about the graffiti on the walls nearby, but actually felt very safe. Graffiti in the US might be a warning sign but not sure about in Prague.

FinlandIt felt like some of the staff did not understand English so well. It is totally okay not to understand everything but it would be nice that we know about it so that we can explain ourselves. For example, I had to ask three times for an iron because of the miscommunications.
Our room was nice and clean. Breakfast was also good. Location was perfect, close to the old town.
