We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

SlovakiaSomeone probably thought that if they do not offer expensive hotel accommodation but cheaper hostel accommodation, the quality of cleanliness could be lower. it is actually just a room in some cheap hostel, where people live in such conditions for a long time. In room number 5 you cannot open the door, the latch gets stuck, the beds are old and uncomfortable,furniture - old cabinets are stacked on top of each other, a broken lamp, dust and dirt everywhere and the bathroom is one big tragedy. Sweaty pillows, even through clean bed sheets you can smell the sweat from the pillow.The accommodation is located in the old villa Maruska,it is a pity that the historical potential of this place was not used. The accommodation can be cheap and simple, people just need a good bed and a clean bathroom, compliance with basic European hygiene principles, nothing more. You come after a long journey, you want to relax and you will find this here..The name of the accommodation sounds very sarcastic, you will definitely not sleep well here.
I highly appreciate the excellent and polite communication with the owner. You can park right in front of the house without any problems and for free. Around the corner you have a great restaurant where they serve excellent beer. And from the Opatov metro station you can get directly to Wenceslas Square very quickly.

AustriaI got probably the worst room of the house: room number 8. not really a bedroom but a storeroom with a few things that should be fixed. This room should be really cared for or given for the half price. The owner has given me good Instructions and he allowed me to check out later. The house is ok, with a kitchen.. and clean. Good for Backpackers

Czech RepublicIt was a bit older / dirtier than expected. Wasnt dirty per say but it had very college / school bathroom vibe with old tiles and showering was an experience. showers are shared. the room didn't have radiator really, just a pipe from one, that led to other room (I'd expect it was a room split to two by plasterboard. Which would explain lack of soundproofing) there was random door to the room next to me, sealed by duct tape and barricaded by cabinet. and door to the room didn't close, so you had to lock it every time you wanted to keep it from opening. I mean in the end I should have probably guessed by the price, but I was not prepared to this level of cheap.

HungaryKitchen was not equiped with anything. There was not any glass, plate or cutlery. Isolation between rooms was minimal, you could hear what your neigbor was doing. During night light came in to the room from various directions.
Bathroom was big. Staff was friendly and helpfull.
