How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Nothing, all was fine.
Location was perfect, all clean and really well maintained. We have enjoyed our stay and definitely would like to come back for a bit longer. So close to city centre, parks, train station, public transport. Well equipped and felt look after. Communicative owner and friendly with great advices and help.

There's nothing to improve! I love this place just the way it is :-)
This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this great little find in Olomouc! I think it is one of my all-time faves. That's not based on a luxury factor, but a care factor. Ok, yes, great location, bed, shower, wifi, kitchen, and the green area view...all that is just perfect. And you can really stretch out here, not just be confined in a tiny 1-room unit. It is ALL fantastic! But the special part is just how kind and considerate the proprietors are: there's water and a few snacks and coffee pods when you arrive. They're helpful by messages when you need a dinner reservation or parking guidance. You can tell these guys really do care and their heart is in it. That is rare in this mediocre automated-stay kind of world we live in! This is truly a wonderful find.

The apartment is comfortable, very well located and very well equipped. Karoline is an excellent host that gave me many tips and advices for our stay in Olomouc. She was constantly watching if we need anything. It is impossible to improve her management

Perfect location in the centre and next to one of the lovely parks. It's close to many restaurants other parks and all the historical sites. The hosts were super attentive and easy to communicate with. The flat was clean, modern and had all we could wish for. The hosts even left fresh milk,juice and some other drinks for us. We'd definitely stay again.

Everything was ok.
Lovely apartment close to the city centre. The host made sure we checked in comfortably and gave us clear and helpful instructions. The flat was clean, spacious, comfortable and very safe. We loved the little snacks and great coffee we had ready on site. I would definitely recommend it for solo female travellers or couples. It was a great experience!

We didn't dislike anything. The place was perfect.
The apartment was excellent and perfect for our family. The hosts were incredibly generous and very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment also had Netflix and a close walk to Olomouc's major attractions. It was also very close to a park that the kids enjoyed playing in.

Very central location near park and historical city walls. Very helpfull and communicative host. Garden view. Well equipped with all one needs to feel at home away from home. Suitable for single travellers, a couple or a family.

The building is a bit intimidating and the neighbourhood kind of unpleasant.
Very comfortable, nice apartament near the center of Olomouc and a park under the city walls. Fully equiped with all that one might need from food to cosmetics and even board games.

Overall very noisy. There was excessive noise from a nearby club, so every night you could hear the bass until 4-5 a.m.! As the building is older you could hear the neighbors.
Fantastic location and extremely helpful owner! I really appreciate the information provided, the clean and nice room and the recommendation from the owner.
