How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Mattress on pullout trundle bed is a bit thin. Beautiful big tub, but no shower curtain so waterless everywhere if you shower.
Location is great at the farther end of the Mala Strana, maybe 300 meters from the Grand Hotel Pupp. The address is confusing for taxi drivers so just say Restaurant La Marche (pronounced La Mark) which is across the street and where the ATM and keyboard is. The place itself is lovely, big living room & kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Nicely furnished and decorated. Older buildings with high ceilings and wide staircase. Also has elevator.

It is difficult to get shower, no shower curturn an shower holder, shower hose is too short, toilet sit isn’t fixed well, it’s shaking, 8 days we didn’t change towels and sheets as no any extra

No on site parking, nearest one takes a 5-10 minutes walk.
Just next to the central district of k vary, wonderful and cozy apartment, definitely worth it.

Very cozy apartment in a great location. Most of the attractions are within walking distance, the Royal spa and Diana funicular is just around the corner. The apartment was clean, comfortable for our family of 4.

Nothing to really complain about but a non stick frying pan could be a good addition to the kitchen.
The location of the apartment was perfect and it was airy and clean. Well maintained.

The Location is perfect, close to colonade with mineral water. Apartment its clean and spacious. Equipped the kettle, microwave, also have TV with many channels. Beds are comfortable , bathroom have floor heater. We are highly recommended apartment.

We left a day before check-out, because it was impossible to sleep at night. Several things just fell down (key hole in the bathroom, towel hanger, a tip from curtain railing in the bedroom). It was very loud from the street with open windows and very hot with closed ones. Also the heat radiator was working at night, that made it even hotter. We decided to book another accommodation for the last night. After checking out I was contacted by customer care, lady was very nice and pleasant. She said that the heat in the apartment could be fixed remotely, but there was no information about it. They offered to issue a voucher, for our next stay, but I still haven’t heard from them (it’s been 3 weeks).
The apartment is in a wonderful location to explore the city, also is near the forest, so was good for dog walks.

From the booking description we believed there were 2 bedrooms. In fact there is one and a sofa bed in the living room/kitchen. The photos of the apartment show the main bedroom from 2 different angles and we believed those to be photographs of different rooms. This was inconvenient for our teenager sleeping on the sofabed. Not the fault of the apartment but the city of Karlovy Vary has been heavily pedestrianised so that it is impossible to drive directly from this apartment to the Saunia Thermal at the other end of town, it is 1.1km on foot but 12km by car.
This is a spacious apartment in a nice building with a lift. It overlooks a quiet road with minimal traffic noise. It is easy walking distance to the Grand Hotel Pupp and the base of the Diana Funicular. It was well heated and the kitchen well equipped. There are some restaurants nearby.
