Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We had a great stay at Anna hotel, which is conveniently situated in the centre, with an off road parking. Nice clean and comfortable room. Breakfast had enough choices, lovely coffee. Very friendly staff.

Czech RepublicThe beds were comfortable, but only one pillow was provided. Also, one of the breakfast cereals was a little stale. Everything else was perfect, however.
A very convenient location in the center of town. Centrally located close to skiing and hiking trails. The exterior facade is well-preserved. Also features a spa area. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

South KoreaMy Room on the street side was very loud. Also I could hear when other guests around/above me went to the toilet. It was very noisy. bathroom needs a refresh, mainly the shower But other than that it was clean

IrelandThere were no childrens programmes on the TV. Heating was horrible, we couldn't control it and in the morning it was very cold. There were 2 doors that we werent allowed to go behind, but it was very uncomfortble sleeping not knowing what was behind them. The lightbulbs were hanging from the ceiling and were very dirty. The rooms were dirty and the furniture was old and used. Showerhead had very low pressure, and the bathtub was covered in long hairs. It was very uncosy overall. Wouldn't stay again.
Location was great, in the very middle of the city. There were great pizzerias and supermarkets close by. My Kids liked breakfast, but personally I wanted more variety. The guy at the reception was very communicable and friendly.
