“Beautiful area with plenty of activities like hiking, cycling, canoeing, and climbing. We stayed in a triple room with a large wardrobe, drying rack, and a clean bathroom. The common areas are cozy, with comfortable chairs, a bookshelf, table tennis, billiards, and outdoor toys. Nice pool with sun loungers. Breakfast is good and extensive, served from 8 to 9:30. Drinks and small snacks are available at the bar throughout the day. Good parking and everything is well maintained.”

The price is excellent for the facilities, even a breakfast is included. The choice of food is not huge but there is somwthing for everybody.

“The owner Martin gave clear information. He stayed in touch should it have been necessary. He speaks English very well,, and is friendly. Both not that common in the Czech republic in general. The house is the last house on the steep walk to the castle. The staircase is fabulous. A detail, I know, but it feels royal. House is nice, all what is needed is available. Mala Skala is in a nice region to walk, and there is the river giving extra leisure possibilities.”
