A comfortable B&B option, clean and well-run. Manager Sidney is the perfect host: caring, friendly, always ready to be of help. Convenient walking distance to historic Willemstad. Not a hotel, which should be clear to anyone who reads the facility's information clearly. I'd happily recommend it to other travelers.

The place was immaculate. The bed was comfortable. It was well supplied. The host Sydney was friendly and helpful and available to assist when needed. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would highly recommend. The location was convenient for accessing the city centre by walking, about 15 minutes and also easy to drive out to various attractions and beaches.

The location was by a road that was quite noisy in the evenings. At night with the bedroom door closed we did not hear street sounds so did not impact sleep.

The host, Sidney, was excellent. He went out of his way to help us. The bedroom had AC but not the common spaces. Can get very hot in the city.

The boxed take out breakfast was not good.

Very clean place and the owner makes you feel like you are at home.

Sydney was so helpful. I liked that we had our own private bathroom. Coffee and breakfast every day. The area was safe and very walkable. Sydney gave great advise for our daily activities.

A home away from home in Willemstad! Our stay at this incredible property in Willemstad was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by the host, who felt like the uncle we all wish we had. His warmth, kindness, and genuine care for our comfort made us feel instantly at home. He went above and beyond, ensuring our check-in was seamless and that every moment of our stay was filled with ease and joy. His attentiveness, thoughtful recommendations, and friendly demeanor made us feel more like family than guests. The property itself was spotless, a testament to the care and dedication put into maintaining it. The location was perfect,just steps away from the main attractions in Willemstad, allowing us to explore the vibrant city with ease. Breakfast was a highlight of our mornings. Every bite was a delight, made with love and served with a smile. It was clear that our host took pride in making sure we started our day with a full stomach and happy heart. Staying here wasn’t just about having a place to sleep; it was an experience of genuine hospitality, comfort, and warmth. We left feeling not only refreshed but also incredibly grateful for the care and attention we received. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, with a host who treats you like family, this is it. We can’t wait to return one day!

I’ve had my fair share of travelling, but the hospitality of Sidney truly is overwhelming and the best i have ever come across. Place is clean, comfortable and location is great. Will definitely come back.

What’s there not to like?!

My husband and I had an amazing stay at Turquoise Dream! Sidney, our host, was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our trip to Curaçao unforgettable. He helped us plan our daily activities each morning, giving us good tips about how to get around in the city, which places to go to for sunbathing, scuba diving etc Breakfast was homemade—not fancy, but balanced and gave us the energy we needed for days full of exploring. We had the whole house to ourselves as the other room was not booked. The facilities were great. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bed was comfortable, the bedroom has air conditioning and the shower was fantastic. The backyard was spacious, with a clothesline—perfect for drying things after all our beach days. The location is very convenient both for going on foot to the city center or for riding your rented cars to the south or north beaches. We really thank Sidney for going above and beyond during our stay.

Everything was really great, especially our host Syndey ! He was very kind with us and helped during our holidays. He gave us a lot of advices and tips (restaurants, beaches, museum and other activities). The house was very clean and everything worked perfectly well. The breakfast was great too ! Thank you very much Sydney !

It is walking distance to the city

- The “private bathroom” is outside of the room. This was incredible annoying. - In order to go to the bathroom, you need to pass common shared areas. These common areas have security cameras, which makes you feel observed all the time. - The host was nice, but be prepare to have a lot of interaction with him. Almost too much to our taste. Im talking daily interactions plus mobile messages. We felt that he was a bit too controlling or micromanaging. He even asked one of us to open the gate with the keys to observe if we did it right (they are normal standard keys). - We chose an airport pickup, so the host came to pick us up (for $35 USD). Unrequested, he decided to give us a tour of the city before getting to the “B&B”. This wasn’t mentioned at all and after our long trip, we would have rather go straight to the “B&B”. During the way, he asked about our religion which felt really strange to be honest. - The breakfast is good (a bit too much food), but it would be good if they had food in the kitchen rather than delivering breakfast every morning.

Some trouble with payment .If you are planning to pay in cash keep in mind to bring USD with you because the Curacao atm:s are extremely greedy.

Very nice stay. The host was super since from the day of our reservation. Sidney is always available to make you have a great stay. We used his pickup service at the airport and he showed us great places. By the morning he brings the very good breakfast from 8h30am up to 9am and help us to make the very best activities in curaçao. If you’re looking for a very cozy and typical place to stay, this is for you. If you’re seeking for a traditional hotel, with front desk and things like this, you should look for another place.

Me and my wife prefer to wake up early and enjoy the day. So, for us, would be very good if we could have breakfast earlier. On the ground floor, where we stayed, we had exclusive bathroom and restroom for our room, but it’s not inside the room, you have to leave the room and access the facilities crossing the living room, which is shared with the other room. But for us it were no problem at all. The property doesn’t have front desk, so you have to enable and disable the alarm every time that you come in or go out, but it’s very easy to manage this. And finally, our reservation didn’t have anything about the cleaning tax, but asking booking they told us that we should pay for it.

Location is great if you want to walk to Punda, Pietermaai or restaurants in Ottrabanda. House is easily recognisable, facilities were clean and kitchen was well equipped for small meals. Host was very friendly and accommodating, giving us a tour of the neighbourhood in his car, pointing out all the good restaurants and even a nice little bar where they serve Rom Berde (a must try!). He also drove us to our rental car pickup and stayed to see everything was in order before he left us. We felt very taken care of (maybe a bit too much? We are used to having to take care of ourselves on trips so we had to adjust our mentality a bit!). Nice to have breakfast included, and even better that we could ask for alternatives to certain parts of the breakfast (more fruit instead of something sweet, no egg or meat,…). The extra security alarm takes some getting used to but made us feel safe during the night and while going out.

It was not completely clear from the pictures/description that the floor would be shared with other guests (they were a nice couple so it worked out great), and that we had to walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom. This is no problem since it was all clean, it was just a bit of a surprise. The host was very friendly but be prepared to have a lot of interaction with him. Again, no problem, just a surprise! We got treated as friends immediately which is a bit of a culture clash for us since where we come from we usually keep a lot more distance from each other :) Payment was in cash only, this put a strain on our credit cards at the start of our vacation and resulted in a lot of extra banking costs for us since we had to withdraw money multiple times because the amount we needed was too big to withdraw all at once.

Sindey is the best host you can imagine.

Everything was simply perfect.

A wonderful place - Sidney, our smiling host, was incredibly generous and helpful. Over breakfast (which he brought in every morning) he would stay and chat to give us invaluable tips on which beaches to go to, where to eat and drink, and what to see. He organised boat trips and car hire for us at no extra cost, and was always doing more than necessary to make us comfortable. A true gent, and so proud of his country, Sidney is a living advert for Curaçao.

It runs parallel to a busy road, and was noisy especially at night This was compounded by the set up for the Carnival Luckily this will not be the case in the future as they are changing the route for the carnival

Our stay at Turquoise B&B was lovely. Sidney is a fantastic host! He was very kind and accommodating with great communication. He gave us many tips to make sure we had the perfect trip! The room was comfortable and the location was perfect. About a 10-15 minute walk to downtown. Would definitely stay here again!
