That we missed a lot of onsite parties and missed out on the floating breakfast ( which is what we came for) due to check-in staff, not telling us about events going on during the week, or that we need 48 hours to order the floating breakfast And in the mornings, the mood beach breakfast staff was very very unattentive. Made morning stressful to eat.

Luxury suites, food was amazing Cleaning staff & check in staff super polite Mood beach VIP area was already reserved which was nice to not rush to get a beach chair

The room is very basic, interior very dark and lighting in the room not much help. Towels of poor quality. No extras like beach bag, daily water or USB points.

Very pretty set among lovely tropical trees and pools. Lovely watching the unusual birds from our terrace.

For the price, robes and slippers would have been a nice touch. Pool hours should be longer than 7pm.

Well, as mentioned by several people above, beach parties ARE expressly loud. Thus, be prepared to have problems with sleeping at least twice a week. Be also prepared to carry your own luggage (irrespective of how many and how heavy suitcases you have along) to/ from your room all by yourself. The door at the shower space would indeed be good to save the floor from getting constantly wet. The occasional cleaning of the sink and the shower drain would definitely do good either.

The location of the hotel is good enough for both, those who want to relax in silence at the pools and those who want to party. The saltwater pools actually save the day giving a feeling of relaxed and secluded atmosphere among lush vegetation, since the beach itself is most of the time heavily overcrowded. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The supermarket, sports ground, quite a number of eating places and shops, also aquarium providing the interaction with the dolphins etc are located at a walking distance.

The shower had no door in the tropical room. This resulted in the bathroom floor getting soaked after each shower. Nothing one cannot work around, but it was a bit inconvenient.

Walking in the hotel felt like walking in a jungle, you can move around from pool to pool among plants and birds. The salt water pools are perfect and very quiet, expect for the occasional kids playing. The restaurant on the beach serves very interesting meals especially for lunch.

Although the lagoon cabin rooms are hugely atmospheric and fabulous, they are fairly dated (albeit that does arguably somewhat add to their charm!). The beds are fairly comfortable, but the bed linens need updating.

The thatched cabins set around secluded saltwater swimming lagoons and tropical foliage provide a fabulous oasis, but within 2-3 minutes walk of the hotel's Mood Beach plus adjoining Mambo Beach facilities. The 2 Mood Beach restaurants (Mediterranean and sushi) we tried produced the best dining experiences we had along the beach, in terms of atmosphere and quality, albeit on the fairly pricey side. .

I would have preferred if there were wash clothes or had give notice prior to coming that there are no wash clothes on the property.

there is quite some construction work happening around the hotel at the moment so can become noisy during the day

Rooms were nicely decorated and looked pretty recent. The various pools and tropical plants give a nice sense of privacy. Staff was great and very helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay there.

The constant urine smell in the bathroom, no ventilation in bathroom unless you opened windows. Was very dusty and did not feel clean.

I would have given Kontiki a higher score however, there is one problem. At least two nights a week there is a dance party on the beach that goes to 1 AM with ear splitting bass thumping. Kontiki is not reasonable for the noise but it permeates all the rooms. The food at the hotel is pricey but that is common all over the island

Unfortunately the swimming pool got green water in the last days of our holidays, so we didn’t use the pool those days. The airco was a very big set up for the room, so it wasn’t easy to control while being in the room. It was loud and not able to create a soft air flow, which was directed right on the bed. The parties on the beachside are quite present, so better bring earplugs.

The location at the Beach was wonderful, the breakfast was well prepared and tasteful. We really liked the gym next door which was also available for the hotel guests to use, they have very nice classes and nice facilities.

We needed to ask for hand towels and bath towels on more than occasion. We got a beach towel that had tears in it on two separate occasions. They cleaned the room and did not replenish the toilet paper. In the bathroom there was dust all along the windows and the corners of the bathtub. The bathroom door kept opening by itself after we closed it.

The location was beautiful and the landscaping was stunning! The pool outside our room was magnificent. The staff was welcoming and attentive. The resort was safe. The beaches were clean and there was ample parking.

The staff was excellent, the place was very nice and clean. Close to places of interest. On the beach, there were gastronomic offers and a bar. The room is spacious and comfortable, with everything you need for a pleasant stay.

We had a very lovely stay with our family and our friends! The resort is quiet and private, but a good meal or drink at the beach is always nearby.
