Here are a few important things to keep in mind: • The website doesn’t mention that the hotel only accepts cash — in US dollars or local currency. Card payments are not accepted, which could be a real issue if you arrive late and have already spent money on a taxi. Thankfully, they accepted my payment in euros, but this should absolutely be communicated in advance. • The hotel itself felt safe, but the surrounding area didn’t feel secure, especially at night. • If you arrive late, there are no nearby shops or food options — everything is closed in the area. • The website mentions a free airport transfer, but in reality, this service does not exist, so don’t count on it.

Overall, the room was good — clean, comfortable, and as described.

There was an underwear under the sink in the bathroom. The white bed sheets and covers had human hairs all over. The towels had rust spots.

I would say that there are very few options for breakfast (they only offered me bread with egg) despite having a cost. Additionally, the transfer service from/to the airport costs 10 USD each way, when on booking.com they offer it as free of charge.

Near to airport (5 min), only to spend the night for connection flights of a trip, I do not recommend it for longer stays

We wasn't aware of the happy hour with loud music and party. It was too loud, and we couldn't sleep till 2:30am We went there especially to rest.

Dependable, reliable transportation was non existent. I waited almost 1.5 hrs after calling for the transportation advertised. Return transportation was literally discussed and an agreed upon time was set. He not only didn’t show up, another driver arrived and had no idea what she was supposed to do. As to the “area” surrounding this property, I would not suggest negotiating this area alone or at night. I walked the area during the day and there could be areas one should stay out of.

The parakeets were super loud from the room I stayed in. Initially difficult in getting there since taxis had no idea of the location and feeling a bit unsafe while waiting late at night in front awaiting staff to let me in upon arrival.

Arrived at night and not familiar with the area of town. Getting there with locked wall door standing alone for several minutes in the dark didn't add a layer of comfort in my security, but once in I was pleasantly surprised as it is very well-kept and inviting. No windows in the room except a small door window and one in the shower, but the lack of light was helpful to sleep. No hot water for a shower that night which was very disappointing (and COLD!). I am a bird lover, but the parakeets (Prikichis) were super loud in the courtyard right outside my room so from 6 am on it was impossible to sleep, so with jet lag and 3 hr time difference, I definitely suffered with fatigue the rest of the day. However, the pool was quiet and gave me time to relax and rest. Both taxis I used had no idea where it was located and struggled to find it although it was only a 5 minute drive. Overall, I would stay again but request a room away from the birds. Great value, clean, loved that there was a tea kettle and bed was very comfy. Staff friendly and helpful.

We stayed only one night. The apartments are only a 5 minute drive from the Curaçao airport so a perfect location for those arriving from Europe on one of the evening flights and connecting the next morning to Aruba or Bonaire. We were tired after a long day of travelling and enjoyed that we could have a light dinner and a cold beer upon arrival.
