The location, far away from everything, but there are buses and taxis passing all day long.

The good intentions of the staff. It is missing a bit of experience, but the positive energy and vibes makes the experience pretty good.

Don’t be in a rush, breakfast time varies everyday and checkout can be a long process

Location is good, not far from the center. 24h reception and possibility to leave your bags. The staff booked us a taxi from the airport. The room was confortable and the breakfast was really nice.

The walls were thin, and the shower did not rinse very well. The portier did not speak any other language except portuguese, which made communication a bit tricky

The staff did not communicate properly and we were made to pay too much for a third person, it wasn’t worth it at all.

There was no lift for heavy luggage. There are few restaurants in the immediate vacinity. It was very nice and very cheap, just not in the easiest area of town for tourists.

The noise between the apartments via the atrium was loud,but that might have been bad luck. No soap….not a deal breaker

I think it will depend on other travelers. The acoustics are, well, quite impactful. My first morning had screaming children reverberating through the building, and my second night had what I imagine were assorted European vacationers drinking and having fun well into the night. So, quality of sleep may vary. The internet came and went, it appears tied to the number of users, when I heard a bunch of people go out to dinner the wifi got much better. Don''t leave ANY food anywhere, a few bread crumbs on me from the tapas bar and ants were all over me.

Good staff, place was spartan but mostly equipped for a short stay. I was here for a few nights after going to a few other islands in CV to see a different part of Praia (I stayed in Plateau at first) and there are some cool tapas and shisha bars nearby. While I didn't cook anything, there are basic facilities and a couple of supermarkets around the corner to the left on the bigger road. Also, vegans rejoice, the only vegan restaurant in Cape Verde is literally next door.

There could be some shower gel/ shampoo in the apartment, as well as some information in advance about what the breakfast would include.

First, I arrived at 2am in the morning and there was someone waiting for me, who opened the apartment and welcomed me. The entire experience from the personnel was great, everyone was very nice and always open to questions and requests. It is very easy to grab a taxi in front of the hotel at any time. The room was also very clean! Finally, I asked for breakfast after the official breakfast time and it was still prepared for me :).

The wifi is working only in public areas but it’s really a minor thing.

Nice and clean room with basic kitchen utensils in case you need to cook anything. Air conditioning was working perfectly which was important since it was very hot outside. A good supermarket is very close by. Staff was good and the outdoor terrace with perfect view. We spent most of our evening there.

No soap, nor extra toilet paper in the bathroom. The kitchen utensils in the cupboard weren't properly washed. Guests should be advised not to make noise in the corridors, as it echoes through the whole building.

A very neat and comfy place. The staff were pleasant and the location was somewhat convenient.
