This is a really nice hotel but note that there is no air conditioning in every room which surprised me for a 4-star hotel. There's also no A/C in the main areas such as breakfast dining room nor in the reception area. There are also no ocean views, it is only city view as this hotel is in front of main square.

Very friendly staff, good breakfast and central location to walk to the port or to the fish and African markets. Very clean rooms and facilities everywhere.

I read a lot of comments saying the breakfast was really good and that was one of the reasons why I chose the hotel. However, I found the breakfast to be really poor There was no toaster, and bread and pastries were really low quality (which could be improved since there is a great local bakery 3 min away) The fruit didn’t look fresh and the juices were warm. Furthermore, the staff didn’t replace any of the consumer items over the breakfast hours.

Whilst near town, we were hassled by beggars every time we went out.

Lovely place, great value for money, clean and lovely room with best breakfast. Close to a great art museum and near town and the beach. On site bar/restaurant was good.

The "standard" room had very few conveniences: no waste basket, no phone (despite being listed on the hotel inventory).

We were upgraded to the "king" level room. The 12 euro total cost for 2 for the airport shuttle. The restaurant and breakfast. The clean and brightly colored room.

The room was amazing large with great lay out. Large bed and the option of aircon and fans for cooling. Also located near the beach and port. Loads of other restaurants nearby.

Some noise from the street at night, but al quiet by midnight

Lovely calm hotel in a good central location and just a short walk from the town beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit and homemade cakes. There’s also a nice cafe /bar attached, with expresso coffee machine and good range of snacks. Highly recommended!

I would add Croissant to the breakfast for European Tourists. Sometimes Music and noise from the street is a problem

There is no AC in the room only fan. I am not big fan of AC however, if AC is a must for someone, this may not be the right hotel.

Very big room (47 m2). Friendly lady at the reception but also during breakfast. I ate a very good cachupa, served with 2 eggs above. We also appreciate that our delay of one day at arrival was not charged, due to the LUXAIR which couldn’t land at Mindelo airport in time.
