Beautiful hotel with friendly helpful staff. Breakfast on rooftop, which also has a big screen (handy for football). Restaurant has a very good reputation; so much so that Brazilian superstar Camila Pitanga and her party dined there on an evening that I was enjoying the delicious food. I have stayed several times over recent years and will continue to enjoy it as my base, when in Tarrafal.

The curtains didn’t hang properly. The safe didn’t work. The balcony door was a bit hard to close. There is no elevator.

Nice large room with balcony. Quiet. Good breakfast on the rooftop. Close to a nice walkway to the beaches. Just next to Kingfisher Village where one can get a nice dinner by the pool and seaside. Friendly staff.

We booked, I think, the last room at the last minute, so it was a room in the courtyard with no windows to the street. It is very small, but quite comfortable. In our case, it was a pity that the refrigerator in the room did not work. The toilet was dirty, we cleaned it ourselves. Breakfasts are quite nice, after three days it gets boring, but I really liked that they give different local dishes and drinks every time, I think this is very important. The coffee, of course, is not tasty

Only two minor remarks: 1) bookes a sea view room but sea view was limited (low floor, buildings partially blocking the view) 2) breakfast was nice however one morning no bread available.

Very clean, good bathroom, AC and room in general. Very satisfactory stay. Great value for money. Would recommend.

A new hotel got built in front of this one, so the lower floors of the front side no longer have an ocean view. The male receptionist was not friendly.

Cozy hotel with a nice ocean and mountain view from the roof top terrace and some rooms. The female staff were all very kind and helpful.

Great location in Tarrafal very close to the beach, the hotel was comfortable and in a quiet area. The breakfast was simple but good quality (with eggs prepared fresh on the spot) and served in the rooftop with sea view.

A bit of a walk to town centre, restaurants and the beach but not bad.

My second stay at this immaculate hotel. Staff are all lovely. Smart restaurant. Food and drink very good. Lovely views from rooftop bar / breakfasting area. I'm looking to book my 3rd stay in late April. I'm not surprised that they are extending. A pool would be a welcome addition. Great views of the island of Fogo nearby.

During check in staff couldn’t care less about our presence. The room wasn’t ready on time, but we were able to check in then. Two ladies at the reception processed the paperwork and payment, one of them walked off and another one continued working on the computer. After 15 min of standing there we asked if there is anything else they need and when is the lady coming back. The lady at the computer told us that the other one is having a coffee break and we can go. We asked why are we waiting then, she responded - don’t know why you are here. Really not an appropriate behaviour.

Beautiful hotel, feels new and modern. Room airy, light and very clean. Really good breakfast, with an exceptional views. Overall great value for money.

WiFi doesn't work sometimes. This is probably not the fault of the hotel.

Stylish interior. Excellent breakfast with fresh fruit, cake, yoghurt (most of the time) coffee, tea, juice and omelet.
