In the early morning, there are people near to get their boat ready for the tours. That can be very loud. It seems like a storage for boat is under the rooms. We were not bordered though.

It is good value. Very clean, comfortable enough for the price. It is in town Carter, the village is very small anyway. Any location is convenient if you stay in the town.

Not a dislike for Tuanis, but just for other travelers' info - nearby restaurants played loud music until 11-12 pm, so it is better to bring ear plugs

Unfortunately, the cleaning staff, they were pushy 1 hour before the official check out time which it's 11am. It was 10am and they wanted me to check out already, they even attempted to get in the room without knocking, they were very rude!

The location was nice, the bed was very comfortable, hot water in the shower, great view. It was great to have a mini fridge to keep your beverages cold!! The AC was excellent. Good amount of towels and toilet paper. I felt very good at this place.

There were ants in the room. You can hear everything - dogs barking and roosters all night

The room was very clean and well equiped. There is a fridge, coffee maker and a cattle so ideal for a quick breakfast. The room has AC which is highly needed in Tortuguero.

that my booking data without my consent was sold and passed on to private boat transport companies. they await you immediatly at the entrance gate of la pavona parking and urge you to buy tickets for their transportation ships. they even lie to you and tell you it costs the same as the public boat, which is actually cheaper. It feels dubious. So be aware of that if you decide to book here.

very modern, very clean. comfortable bed and good cooling! you get a little discount at tuanis tours if you pay cash. at the time of writing we paid 25$ for the canoo tour.

The shower had very little pressure, it took us longer to get wash and clean but did it's job in the end. Some roosters near by woke us up every morning at 3am but I guess it's part of being in the country side.

Great location, clean and good size room. With a little kitchen with a coffee machine, a fridge, some plates and cutlery in case you want to eat or in our case make some breakfast. Air con works very well.

Close proximity to everything. Clean, comfortable, and friendly. We took the night to through Tuanis with Bernie and I highly recommend it. We say everything and more. I would definitely stay here again.

There are not enough facilities to hang your clothes, only in the bathroom. Tortuguero is very humid and we couldn’t dry our clothes. Maybe just one or 2 ropes in the balcony are enough

You have everything you need in the room. Everything is very clean. The guy who took care of us was super nice, he explained everything about the village and gave tips about what we could do. They also propose tours, boat tours, day walk and night walk. I don’t know if they always have the same guide, but the guy we had was excellent! We did the boat tour and the day walk. He knew so much about the flora and fauna, and was always telling us facts about everything we saw in the jungle! He knows the area very well, so knows where the animals are. We saw frogs, tucans, woodpecker, parrots, monkeys, sloths, in just a 2 hour walk!

liked everything but if I was to suggest something, the blind is quite see-through at night when main light is on so had to get changed in bathroom but that is very minor

beautiful modern rooms and comfortable bed. shower and toilet area very nice and balcony was great, especially during rainy season as you could sit and read there and watch the storms. the host also bought a fridge for our room when we messaged prior to our stay asking if there was a fridge to put some medicine in. effective aircon and fast whatsapp replies

I can't fault this place for value for money.

The rooms were cool and pleasant. They had balconies overlooking the lagoon. Staff were not really a visible presence as the rooms were more like apartments with kettle and breakfast was not included.

The apartment is advertised with "river view". In reality, there is a huge beton and brick wall right in front of the balcon. As we mentioned it, the answer was "unfortunately it is so." The description has still not been corrected. The room is very small, feels like a sterile hole. There are no hangers. You can't even hang your wet things. It is loud. You hear everything from the neighbors.

Clean, well maintained room and bathroom. Check-in was easy. The accomodation is near to the entry of the national park.
