A fan in the bathroom would have been nice and the shampoos were hard to use. This is minor compared to all it iffers

The location is right on the beach and I really enjoyed early morning walks on the beach. In nearly every spot of the resort we had a beautiful beach view. Food is top quality and the free breakfast came with lots of options.

The view from our room was blocked by some internal facility room… breakfast was very limited. I think the hotel management could really lift up the level of the place by focusing on customer service and food

I wasn’t a fan of the pool chairs, they didn’t have cushions, so they were quite uncomfortable to sit on. Also, the breakfast selection was limited, with not much variety in the food options.

The location felt intimate, which we really appreciated, but it’s quite remote. If you’re looking to stay closer to more populated or lively areas, this might not be the ideal place for you.

We were celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary and our stay was everything we had hoped for. Our room was comfortable. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the staff were friendly. While there we booked another stay there when family come to visit. Sunset Del Mar is our new happy escape destination!

The portions at the restaurant can be reaaaally big, like, too big for our French tastes. I recommend sticking to the ceviches because they were absolutely amazing and well-portioned.

What stood out the most is the friendliness of the staff. The hotel operations manager is a GEM. The villa had a really cozy style, and was very spacious. The hotel is right on the beach, and we made the most of it. There was never more than 10 people around, for kilometers. Absolutely dreamy. The hotel pool is so warm, you could spend hours in there. Highly recommend the ceviche at the hotel restaurant, it was by far the best ceviches we had in Costa Rica! There are no nearby restaurants or bars, but honestly didn't bother given that we found really tasty and decently priced options at the hotel. We'd absolutely go back here for a few relaxed days.

The best hotel I stayed in Costa Rica. Lovely atmosphere, great vibes, right on a stunning, endless beach. Amazing sunsets. Roberto, Renzo and Randall were brilliant. The food was great. The room was very spacious, so was the pool. Prefect place to relax and process all the adventures I had so far. Would love to come back one day. Only negative points: The bed was a little bit to soft for me and they didn't change the towels on my 4 night stay but I had a set for 2pax, so I was fine.

Too much furniture in the bungalows which makes it tight. The property is a bit rustic. Restaurant is pricey.

On a beautiful beach. Spacious for long walks. Breakfast is good. The pool is nice which you need as the waves can make ocean swimming tough.

I would suggest that they put a little attention to their beach and out out some nice lounge chairs and umbrellas. It would make sitting and swimming other ocean more enjoyable
