Pool area could have been better maintained. Although it was great to have breakfast in a bakery I wished they had told me that in advance.

Place was really nice and confortable, great location. Easy access to the beach and restaurants in the area. Room was done everyday and towels were changed everyday as well. We enjoyed the pool. The staff was attentive. The receptionist was always available online. Although we paid for the breakfast, we were told upon arrival that restaurant would open at 10am, hence we could go to a bakery, which we did and the hotel covered the costs. It was 5 minutes walking.

The whole place a bit outdated and specifically the pool area, which is of urgent need of care. Opening time of reception could be from 8 instead of 9 The restaurant did not serve high quality drinks and juiced, to much water added. The breakfast had pannkakor on the menu but they were not available any single day of our 4 mornings. Restaurang you find much better outside of hotel even that the wibe is outstanding on the beach with dj. I think the place is more for 25 to 30 year old instead of families

The pool could use a little updating, but nothing to complain about. We used it everyday.

Excellent location on the beach, walking distance to a lot of restaurants. We loved our little bungalow, it was clean, comfortable and private. The breakfast was delicious and right on the beach. Feet in the sand, coffee in hand!

The pool!!! It definitely needs an update! It is the same old pool as when the property was called Luz de Vida. Although there are nice chaise lounges, the pool looks old and water seems dirty and foggy. I did not use the pool because of this reason, and apparently nobody did.

Room was very comfortable, good AC, very clean and updated. Terrace was great. All staff was very helpful, educated and nice, Housekeeping, Restaurant waiters and Front Desk. Beautiful gardens and lighting. Big and clean bathrooms.

The hotel doesn’t provide towels for the pool unless a deposit is paid, for the price you would expect this to be a given. There’s no relation to the beach club that’s next to it and has the same name, so in order to stay in the beach club you need to pay extra. This was not disclosed and it’s easy to assume it would be included because of it essentially being the same place. The pool is nice but it looks like it could use some maintenance. Overall it was good, but not great and not worth the price.

The hotel is very well located, it has safe parking spots and it’s right by the beach. The room we stayed in was nice and clean, but don’t expect anything fancy.

The privacy of the bungalows was very nice. The outside living of the bungalows was a great experience.

The price was rather high versus what we expected. The music of the beach bar was loud and the rooms are near. We had ear plugs so it was okay. But the music is loud at party nights. The swimming pool was not so clean. They pulled away the leaves every morning though and there was a nice shower.

The rooms were clean, reception staff and restaurant staff was super nice and the beach bar great as well.

the bungalow was fantastic, so much space, it was clean and comfortable. great location, practically on the beach, with lots of restaurants a short walk from the hotel - the Asian sushi restaurant was our favourite! the staff were great, best to get the managers phone number and WhatsApp her if you want info on tours or transfers. the pool area was a lovely space to relax, although sun loungers could do with an update. the breakfast included was delicious, the beach bar was a fabulous place to watch the sun set too!

Only weird thing was some uncomfortable moments with the receptionist (Tiffany I guess), we asked for an additional space before we arrive and never get a response, so our friend didn't go with us, but when we were doing the check out she doubt that we bring and additional person with us and she told us "I don't know if I believe you". And then we never did that kind of military check out process, she even check for the tv remote control batteries. Maybe because we are Costa Rican?? Don´t know, just uncomfortable and weird. All the other persons were really kind and helpfull.

Breakfast was really good, even when it wasn´t a Costa Rican typical breakfast. Restaurant is in front of the beach, with cool music and very nice environment (and the sunsets), beach with great waves for surfers and quite places for kids. Supermarket is relatively close, so you can buy anything you need.

The room had a weird smell and felt damp. Feels like it all needs a revamp/update. There was no hairdryer or iron (and these were never offered). We had the honeymoon suite and not sure what made it the honeymoon suite…it was the closest to the beach club meaning it was very noisy, it was also right beside the public footpath to the beach club. Nothing about it felt “honeymoony”. No special touches. The shower still had hair on the wall from previous guests. The breakfast was nice but took a long time, pancakes was on the menu but they didn’t have it all 4 mornings we were there.

Great location and amazing vibe at the beach club. Receptionist was very responsive and helpful as were the staff at the beach club. Lodges are lovely but need an update, lovely being surrounded by jungle.

Very noisy we asked for a quiet room it wasn't. Their beach bar blasted music late into the night 4 or 5am. Booking was messed up they blamed booking.com. inflexible check-in time.

I’ll preface by saying we travel a lot, and usually on a budget. This was our honeymoon, so I really pushed the boat out wanting a nice hotel. We booked the honeymoon bungalow which you’d think would be an upgrade from standard. I assumed it would just be a nicer version of all the glass fronted bungalows in the pictures. It was not. It had one small window that did not open. In rainy season, so with lots of damp clothes, the rom became a dark, damp cave that stank of mildew. Everywhere else we stayed in Costa Rica we had big glass doors with mesh screens to get light and air in. There wasn’t even a hair dryer we could use, which at this price, I would certainly expect. This bungalow was also right on the main path through the hotel. Again, you’d assume the honeymoon bungalow would have the most privacy. On the other side of the patio area was the public path to the beach club. The wardrobe only had shelves so we couldn’t hang anything up, and the bathroom was dirty. Limescale blocking the shower head and marking the toilet bowl.

Location was good and beach club was lovely.

Details for the guest are missing… my Bungalow did not have ventilator just AC and the windows were locked so we could not open them. No hangers for the towels (just one… for a family of 4), old sink, no shower or water outside to clean up the sand to get into the cabina. Floor terrace slipery when wet,

Sometimes the service wasn't great at the restaurant. Mainly a bit hard to get the waitresses attention and some of them had a bit of attitude. But overall not a big problem.

Amazing location right on the beach. Big restaurant, bar and sunchairs right on the beach. Food and drinks were great for decent prices. Loved the easy access between our bungalow and the beach area.

A lovely little villa with a outdoor kitchen, next to the beach. You can chill in the banana restaurant, use the beds and enjoy perfect atmosphere and super good food. Everybody is so friendly and nice. Especially Sophia, the receptionist is a super kind person, helping with everything what’s coming up. Thank you so much! I would always come back to that paradise place
