The price of the tours and food is expensive so stay here but eat and book activities elsewhere.

The wildlife we saw here was fabulous. Coatis and capuchins everywhere. The pool is lovely and the location easy to get to places.

Excellent location! We saw so much wildlife right off of our deck. The walking trails were fantastic as well as the staff! There are also options to walk for shopping/restaurants.

Beautiful grounds with trails to explore. Spotted monkeys in the trees next to the lodge. Food was delicious with a wonderful view overlooking the gardens. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was lovely with a balcony overlooking a little stream and lots of vegetation. Kids enjoyed the wonderfully warm swimming pool.

The rooms did over look a small garden and stream but no seats to sit out and it was very small so it was a shame more wasn’t made of that. Our rooms were close to reception and as this, the restaurant and bar are all open plan noise carried easily to the bedrooms on this corridor.

Stunning setting. We loved our room next to a babbling brook and the forest views. We spent time in each of the walking paths around the property and saw many beautiful birds We also liked the short walk to town.

Breakfast! Even though very delicious and tasty for the price we paid it should be possible to order a la cart whatever you want or to organize a buffet. Something to work on it.

The bed was so comfortable! The staff was so helpful. The restaurant and service there was fantastic. The trails on site were so fun to wander around. Saw so much wildlife.

the laundry services are too expensive (but that's across all of Costa Rica). the restaurant gives you a receipt with an 'extra tip' line which is kinda misleading, because they already take 10% tip automatically, and they don't mention it to you. in other places they mentioned this explicitly.

Probably our best hotel in Costa Rica! (we were in 5 different hotels, and this was the best one). Right when you enter - the building is beautiful, and the rooms are also cozy, super clean, and very pleasant. The restaurant is insanely good, and decently priced - we ate there almost every day for breakfast (included!) and dinner. The one time we tried to eat in another place we regretted it because the hotel's restaurant was so much better. Staff is also super nice, and gave us great advices on what tours to do and what to skip. To keep it short - just book it! I highly recommend this place - we really loved it!

The property is absolutely gorgeous and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The hotel is beautiful and the food at the restaurant very delicious. Every morning they offer a complementary breakfast which is absolutely fabulous. The property has walking trails and you can see alot of the wild life on the property. The staff is very friendly and helpful and go above and beyond to help with anything you may need. Would definitely visit again.
