There was nothing to fault during our stay.

We stayed in one of the charming little wooden rooms, complete with an outdoor seating area and a hammock. The rooms were simple but beautiful, with a rustic charm. Having a fridge was a big plus for keeping our drinks and fruit cool. The location was excellent - less than a 5-minute walk to the beach and just off the main road lined with restaurants, cafés, and shops. Our host was incredibly friendly and clearly puts her heart into making sure guests have the best possible stay.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. The cabins were clean and comfortable and really nicely decorated . The gardens are beautiful and it was wonderful to be woken up by a monkey dropping things on the roof 😆. The location is good. Close to restaurants and the beach

The room was great and we loved the view on the garden. The tropical garden is what drew us to the place and also it is one of the quietest hotels in Santa Teresa near the beach. It's close to restaurants and literally 50 meters away from Santa Teresa Beach. The staff was really helpful and recommended where to go for lunch and other activities. We had breakfast at the hotel it was included in our rate. I recommend the omelette!!

Only issue for some maybe the main bed is a mezzanine level up some steep small stairs/ladder. Think this only applies to the end hut

Very peaceful setting amongst the trees. Convenience of location to some cafes and restaurants(however the beach road is long so you need some sort of transport) The owner is super friendly and helpful. The accommodation is great, much better than the pictures show. The hut was large with a full kitchen. We were at the end hut and we could look out to see monkeys swinging in the trees from our bed. The balcony is great and large.

Property is perfect! I’m not the biggest fan of Santa Teresa but this hotel is great.

Loved the shady pool. Really clean room. Wonderful dogs to pet. Really chill owner. Right across from the beach. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place in ST.

Just a heads up that since you are living in lush gardens, there lots of ants.

Beautiful property. Well kept gardens, noise is to a minimum since you are a bit away from the street, good bed, breakfast was delicious!

In the middle of a small garden where you can see the monkeys and squirrels in the trees. You wake up with the birds. Virginie is a very kind lady, it was so nice talking with her.

Central location in Santa Teresa the staff is wonderful and the 3 dogs on property are amazing. We got the breakfast option and it was worth it, We had a great breakfast and coffee every morning we were there.

The whole town had lots of mosquitos so we had to use bug spray wherever we went. The bathroom is open with no netting so we had to ensure we used spray always. Beautiful room with hammock.

Great plunge pool, set back from busy road so much quieter, near great Soda restaurant! Lots of animals in garden and Christophe kindly helped us with our travel planning.

Very nice property in a lush garden, with the plus that is located a few yards away from Santa Teresa's main road (that can be very noisy and busy at times) which made our stay at Hotel de la Luz very peaceful and pleasant. Our premium room was nicely decorated and well equipped (except for the shampoo/shower gel in the batroom) and so was the common area and patio where we had a nice breakfast every morning. The owner Jimena and her daughter are really lovely and helpful so I highly recommend this place if you're staying in Santa Teresa!
