Breakfast could be more plentiful. It wasn't a problem for us, but soap and shampoo were missing.

We saw 2 cockroaches in the kitchen, a few centipedes on the bedroom wall. The sheets were not clean, the towel had yellow stains.

The surroundings were very pretty, and so was the garden around the lodges. The owner was very friendly, she gave us a bigger room as it was vacant.

I chose the hotel because description said there was a restaurant at the property. I didn’t want to drive anywhere in the evening. However, only breakfast is provided.

Loved the beautiful jungle setting. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Very nice breakfast and great coffee. Lovely waterfall a short hike from the property where you can jump into the water.

Our rolling luggage couldn’t roll on gravel. Hard to locate. The waterfall was far from the property, no parking nearby and was a river.

Hot shower wasn't hot.

Rooms were very cool even though there was no AC - wasn't needed. Beautiful grounds, nice pool, good breakfast. Owner was very helpful and informative.

The bed was uncomfortable, some of the lights didn't work, we found a cockroach in the closet, we didn't have hot water (they tried to fix it but never worked), and very bad wifi reception inside the cabin.

It is very pretty and Helene is really nice. Breakfast is good.

WiFi was good near the pool only!

A family-run hotel in the jungle with its own trails, a nice pool, and a delicious breakfast in the morning. The rooms are located in separate cabins apart from each other. walking around was amazing !!! such a beautiful property! There’s a river nearby, about a 15-minute walk away, where you can swim. It’s a very atmospheric and enjoyable place. We loved it!

We showed up last minute on a Sunday afternoon, and got to hear all about staff drama. The promising "eco lodge hotel" from the pictures was, in reality, run down. We see how it would have been beautiful once, but unfortunately this was not our experience. When we arrived we saw no one and felt like we were walking through a ghost town. Also the termites eating our cabin did not feel like a great sign. The sheets were of some sort of plastic and were weird to sleep under

You could tell that they are restoring the place somewhat. The yard was not fully maintained (plants overgrowing some paths, wild animals pooping on the paths that did not get removed for days). But that is nature and did not disturb us too much.

Wonderful little gem in the forest. We stayed here to avoid the crowds and were blown away. Small villas separated by a beautiful garden/forest. We received an upgrade and on the beginning were the only guests there. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, a big thank you to everyone. The villa itself was very cozy, had a bathroom and a kitchen. Bed was comfortable, villa was overall very clean. You can walk on the property (lots of different plants, some animals such as birds, even sheep), or walk 15 minutes to the waterfall. Breakfast was also very good and the pool refreshing. Located a 15 minute drive from Dominical, 25 minutes to Quepos and 40 minutes to Manuel Antonio. But the local beach at Matapalo is highly recommended. And listen to AJ's restaurant recommendations, the Langosta Feliz was amazing. We ended up extending our stay and loved every minute of it.

Everything was perfect or even better.

Very friendly staff and owner met all our needs during our stay. We were travelling with disabled child and their attitude was really great. Beautiful space around our villa, nice and clean swimming pool, tasty breakfast... We enjoyed it very much.

We booked the hotel and told them we would check in a bit late. We drove all the way to the lodge and there was nobody to welcome us, the reception was closed at 7pm. We had to go find another hotel at night on the spot.

It was quiet,peaceful and located in a gorgeous area. Many beautiful, secluded and safe beaches and hiking trails. The staff was so nice and welcoming. This is the place to relax and get in touch with nature.
