Amazing location, right on the beach and very close to restaurants and bars. The staff was friendly, helped us every time we needed something. The breakfast was decent for the money paid: eggs, rice with beans and fruits. Would be nice to include some jam and butter or something.

There is no hot water in the entire hotel ! This is not mentioned in the description and even if it was warm outside it’s not ok to have just cold water. There is a lot of noise from the street and you can hear everything from the other rooms.

No A/C rooms on the second floor. I missed while booking and it looked like a hostel rather than a hotel.

Location to the beach

They were very accommodating. It is a budget option, so keep this in mind, but it is right on the beach with a decent Costa Rican breakfast. There are tables and places to sit as public areas. Playa Coco is not the nicest beach in Costa Rica, but it is the closest to the airport. This was great for what we needed, just a nights stay.

It is an older hotel, just keep that in mind.

Location, breakfast, maybe the price, and service were good. It's a good place to stay just to sleep at night and go around the area to adventure with tours, meeting the beauty of the zone during the day, if that's the plan, it's a good option. .

We were on the first floor, the sound of the second floor was so annoying: people walking around the room, the doors sounded like they were slammed, and the talking too close. During our stay, a family arrived at midnight and they were very unconscious, to loud, luggage wheels, Kids running, talking to loud... Terrible, people in charge didn't do much and that is very rude. So, if you're staying there, definitely choose a room on the second floor.

Included breakfast was really nice and the hostel has a naturally beautiful atmosphere, but also one that was very relaxed.

The hotel is perfectly located, literally across the street and footsteps away from the beach! Short walk (4 blocks) to the local bus to and from Liberia, 1 block away from Soda Teresita, which is good, and everything you will need is very close by. The room was nice and big with a very comfortable bed, it was very clean and organized, had a strong ceiling fan & standing fan, also a bonus small fridge. The *free breakfast was so good and very filling, choices like the typical with gallo pinto, eggs, and maduro or pick three items from the available list like eggs, pancakes, and bacon with as much coffee as we asked for was beyond what I expected, plus your able to sit on their big beautiful balcony overlooking the beach! And all the hotel staff were helpful and very friendly!

That I couldn't smoke on that big beautiful balcony when we were hanging out late at night enjoying the breeze and hearing the ocean! But I understand it's most likely the law and the hotel has no control over that?

The location was awesome, it was tucked in at the end of the street and the hotel and my room overlooked the beach. It was an easy location to walk to the main area, it's a small town but I enjoyed not being on the main street and closer to the beach. The staff was great, the woman at the front desk was very inviting and kind when I made a semi-big mistake.

The hotel itself was good. I recommend earplugs as there was a decent amount of street activity, and the birds were weirdly loud. Wasn't the hotel's fault, just good advice for visitors in case you are a light sleeper.

When I arrived the shower didn’t work so I had to change rooms and then during my stay one of the lights in the room shorted out. Also important to note the hotel doesn’t have hot water which they tell you about in advance but a warm shower at 6 in the morning before my flight would have been appreciated.

The location is perfect... down the way from any night noise and right across from the beach. I loved the upper porch area to hang out, read, or eat a meal. The breakfast choices were plenty and they were accommodating when I had to leave early for an excursion (with prior notice).

There is no cross breeze in the rooms as windows are boarded up. The sign for room cleaning is unclear that you have to ask to have your room cleaned. I was told there was a co-working space, but really there were only shared open air areas. This would not have worked had I had an online meeting.

The location, it really is right on the beach. The view from the top deck is great. The kitty on the stairs was super nice. Some people complained that there was not hot water, but its not cold just room temperature, it was fine, especially after a hot day in the sun.

The room had an “off” odor we could not find, possibly the rug? The un housed people sleeping around the property really took away from the cool vacation vibe.
