A bedside lamp to reduce the glare of the main room lights would have been nice but not essential.

Very friendly staff who were extremely accommodating and willing to help out with anything. The restaurant food was very good and well presented. Access to the sister hotels pool was a real bonus that was most welcome.

Room had no windows facing outside, only towards the hallway. Was not a big deal though, as we didn't stay in the room much, except for sleeping.

This hostel was accommodating to our last-minute booking. It was clean and central to everything in town. The restaurant it was above was very delicious. Very easy to check in and out. Beds were comfortable. Shower worked well. Walkable to everything. 2 minute walk to the beach.

The windows dont open. We had no view at all (a wall in front of the window).

Big room, perfect for 2 friends as both beds are huge. Great location and restaurant.

The room was barely large enough to walk around the bed, with no room for luggage. The price for the room seemed excessive given how tiny it was, and no breakfast was included.

The staff was ready for us despite a last-minute booking. they graciously spoke English to us, which was very welcome after a particularly long day traveling. The air conditioner worked wonderfully. The bed and pillows were unexpectedly comfortable and good quality. The attached bath was adequate and had hot water. There was dedicated parking for the hotel, which was helpful as parking is at a premium in Montezuma.

I was pretty disappointed to find that the hot water selector did not work in our shower as I had been looking forward to shaving! The room smelled a bit like swampy stagnant water, though this may have been because of the air conditioning. The room we were assigned was right next to the stairway, and had windows overlooking the stairs in both the room and the bathroom. The windows were up high enough that nobody could easily see into our room for the most part, but we did keep the shades drawn to feel a bit more secure. Unfortunately there were no shades to draw in the bathroom, but as I said, nobody could really look in, it just felt a bit odd to be on the toilet where it felt exposed! Last thing of note- the couple in front of us checking in got their introductory spiel about where to find breakfast and using the hotel accommodation after they checked out etc, but when we got to the front we were told that because we booked through booking.com none of that was included. No breakfast etc. not the end of the world to us, but seemed like the property was scrimping on their booking.com offer.

The property was really cool and funky. We really enjoyed the atmosphere despite and because of the quirks. We booked last minute, so choices were limited, and the prices weren’t the best, but we were overall happy with what we got. We only stayed one night, so we did not get to try the restaurant or any of the other amenities. The air conditioning was very effective and we slept fantastically.

We would have loved if there were some real curtains in the room & the shower can get an upgrade. Besides that we had an amazing stay!!

The location of the hotel is absolutely amazing. The supermarkt is literally next door & the beach is just a 1 minute walk. Besides we loved that we could use the pool of the sister hotel ‘Ylang Ylang’, really nice add on for your trip! Staff is also very sweet, highly recommend!

Do not tell the guests of the hotel that Ylang-Ylang (the sister hotel) is 10 min walk :) Most of the walk is on the beach and part through a forest. There is no lights at night. So, for people who do not know the area, it is not a good idea. During the day, you can drive to the property and then walk on the beach. Ylang-Ylang has a beautiful pool and excellent restaurant!

The breakfast (although not included in our rate) was delicious! The menu included variety of options, the service was great!

The food at the lovely restaurant in the garden is great. The staff is super sweet and helpful. The room was nice and comfortable.

Room didn't have windows and there was a bit of noise from the street/nearby bars. Nothing major and it didn't go on too late though but definitely a consideration. Not enough to keep you awake for long.

Very good location in the center of the village and two steps away from the beach, good bar/restaurant, great service, staff was very nice and helpful. The access to the Ylang Ylang pool is also greatly appreciated.

We stayed for three nights, and had a wonderful time. Great value, delicious breakfast included, lovely staff, cozy vibes. It's right on the strip in Montezuma just steps from beachside restaurants. We took advantage of the partnership with Ylang Ylang's pool every day, which we loved because it was a built-in ten minute walk down the beach. Muchísimas gracias por todo!

Only wish would be for shampoo/conditioner and fan in the bathroom.

First came twenty years ago, and had such fond memories. Returned to find comfy mattresses and pillows, wonderful included breakfast, and lovely staff. Didn’t disappoint! It’s perfectly central, has a lovely patio, and is a great value.
