There is nothing walking distance, so you most probably need a car. Some noise from cars and trucks on busy road below. But even taking this into account it is still 100% worth it just for the view. Definitely wish we could stay longer and want to come back.

Stunning ocean view. Suite had wall to wall glass doors and from the moment we opened the door we were greeted with a beautiful ocean view. Loved the balcony and specially the small private pool. We enjoyed seeing small fishing boats as well as bigger ships lined up for their entrance to the Puntarenas dock, and we even saw a couple of macaws flying by. Very pretty decor and furnishings with lots of wood and nice details such as flowers in the bath towels. Good to have small fridge, microwave and hot plate.

We stayed 2 nights at Unit #1 and had a great relaxing stay after a long drive from Corcovado. Unit #1 is the most private, and Laura was super welcoming with excellent communication. The space was sparkling clean, and the small kitchen was a plus. The sleeping space was ample, and the bathroom/shower, open to nature, was a real treat. The location is great, close to beaches and the national park. The only drawback is the noise from heavy trucks on Rt 1 when sitting outside, but luckily, they don't drive much at night, and the room was quiet and peaceful. We would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling and staying in this part of Costa Rica.

Right off the highway, so you can hear the sounds if you leave the doors open.

The room was massive, clean and well appointed. Looked just like the photos but more spacious. Right off the highway so it was easy to reach after driving all day and after dark. Loved the view and all the amenities. You can stay for a very long time if there for work reasons.

Apartments are in a pretty remote area on a steep hill, so you can't walk anywhere, but that makes the view amazing.

The place is a bit far away from good restaurants. But it is ideal if one needs to switch off from the daily grind.

The place is surrounded by nature! It’s is very calming, beautiful and charging. Each morning we were visited by an iguana on the terrace! The sunsets were stunning.

Towel hooks in the bathroom would be cool, but not a deal breaker. Worst part was that we couldn’t stay longer.

Suites 5 & 6 are private, have great views and by far this has been our favorite stay during our time in Costa Rica. Did not want to leave.

Easy self check-in. The property is not by a hot spot town but the view from the room is spectacular. The beds were really comfortable. There were many details and touches that were artistic and unique.

- More of an advisory for other potential guests, but I had some issues completing the payment with my international credit card (UK mastercard) over booking dot com. We resolved the issue in the end by me paying in cash at the property. Though I would advise the host to never send out external links for a bank transfer as was attempted, as there are many scams on booking dot com that do just that. - There was some construction work being done at the property when we arrived which we weren’t told about in advance. We appreciated that they tried to keep noise to a minimum, but it might’ve been more of an issue if we stayed longer than 1 night.

We were in two minds about staying a night in Tarcoles, but I’m glad we did as there is plenty to see in the area. The suite is perfect for 1-2 nights, and certainly looked like the best option to stay in the area. We also saw plenty of wildlife from our room which is always a bonus. Laura was a very responsive host and even let us check-in earlier than what was originally planned.

Personally it just needed a cushioned sofa to rest inside the suite.

Amazing experience!! Super comfortable suite all equipped in a secluded area, everything has being well thought out and it's like being inside a small zoo, from our deck we got to see different birds, fireflies in the night.

When you check in there is nobody. There were no bottles of fresh drinkwater in the fridge. Good we had our own water
