Easily one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Great location within walking distance of Ximen, at least two metro lines as well as Taipei main station. Modern hotel but not in a way that gets in the way of simple operation. The software on the tablet works better than most hotels and only really needs to be used to control the climate, otherwise can be ignored. Beautiful soft bed next to a large window with a view of the city, I was in awe every night on the 12th floor. Staff was extremely friendly and available. Would definitely stay here again.

Negative section of review
This is only a minor thing really, but I decided to use the laundry service for convenience and, while it’s usually expensive in many hotels (one pays for the convenience) I found this one to be really, really expensive. Washing five days of socks, tshirts and underwear ended up costing more than €55 / US$60. Obviously I could have opted for a laundromat and the prices were known ahead of time, but still felt a bit like a ‘robbery’. I suppose one does pay for the convenience.

I have stayed in quite a few hostels in Taiwan and 'Kenting My Home' was probably the best one. The location, the service, the comfort and the pricing everything was just too perfect. The best part was that they provide unlimited free noodles, coffee, tea, cold drink. Strongly recommended for solo travelers.

the single room they assigned for me is really quiet ,able to sleep very well at night. overall is great, location is superb, easy to find, walking distance to breakfast shop, beauty mart, night market. and the shopping mall.

The hotel is a little old, but the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Location of the hotel is very centralized and close to many of Hsinchu's attractions.
