Mona’s place has everything you need. It is comfortable and clean and fully self contained. Before arriving, Mona organised transfers from and to the airport. We arrived in Tonga without our luggage. That evening they drove us the short distance into town where we enjoyed dinner at the Friends restaurant before taking us back to our accommodation. Our flight to Vava’u was cancelled so Mona was able to accommodate us for an additional night. She has been wonderful checking in on us and ensuring we have everything we need. Mona and her family have made a very stressful trip into a positive one.

Accommondation is really nice. Location is good if you will rent a car (what you'll do anyway).. then its perfectly in the middle of the Island - same distance everywhere. Its small house next to the main house where family lives. You have living room and two bedrooms and bathroom with toilet. Beds are confy and good. They have beautiful garden, big terrace which you can use. Everything was clean. Family is super friendly and nice. I can really recommend. Staying with local family is much better then some hotel in the town.

Maria and her team are wonderful. Very helpful, generous and hospitable. They look after each guest so well, from airport pick ups and drop offs, to plenty of food, water, coffee and great wifi. It was the perfect stay before and after my whale swim trip in Tonga. I highly recommend if you like home stays/shared accommodation. I would stay there again.

Bring ear plugs, the neighbours have some friendly and early morning excited animals. Which was fine and can't be helped.

Private, not in a busy area, room was great and had everything that I needed. The staff were great and prompt with replies. I loved my stay and will definitely be back.
