Positive section of review
The name speaks for itself and the best thing is that there is 2 swimming pools. I enjoyed my stay. There is a staff by the name of Jaden and let me tell you, he’s awesome. He helped us a lot and he was so kind. He definitely deserves a raise of pay for his tremendous work. Most of the females staff very unwilling.

The only thing that I don’t like about the property is the area it’s located. It’s very much lonely and it do have alot of males in that area .

Room was clean and decent sized. Love that there was a fridge in the room. Also loved the big windows, perfect for letting in a lot of sunlight during the day. Lighting in the bathroom and sink area was perfect.

Not enough lighting for the night. A couple of lamps (one of them wasn't working) but not enough to brighten up the room of that size.

Good a/c in bedroom allowed good sleep. Large bed with good mattress. Spacious, with nice porch for sitting. Seawall and beach across street, nice breeze. Can't beat the price.

Never met management. Tenants next door called for us and relayed which unit was ours. Wife thought the sheets had a slight smell of perspiration.

We enjoyed our stay here, nice pool but a bit small but you can use the other pools from the other Torarica if you want. It had a nice breakfast buffet too.

A beautiful old Dutch heritage building. The area is fine during the day but a ghost town some nights after 6pm - everything is closed nearby.

There was 1 receptionist Sarah, who was aware of facility management and customer service. Botanical Garden and gardens/ plant at the terras per room (ground floor).

Multiple issues. Most important lack of (profound) Customers Service. In Dutch I translated the resort as a joke to NEEcana (Ja=Yes, NEE=no). Every simple request was answered with No/Nee and no alternative could be provided. Booked this resort with title Wellness-for the pool and hot running shower water. Pool Water was very greasy and not properly clean. Check-in: in advance I contacted the reception by phone with the question to combine my 2 single bookings, so I didn't have to transfer the next day to another room. Not an option. Reference was made to check-in time to request this. Upon arrival at 16.00hour the receptionist declared there were customers who arrived 15minutes before check-in time who received their last free room. So I still needed to transfer from allocated rooms. Though when somebody was requested to assist me with a heavy suitcase to an upper room -the reception was able to re-book my room without transfer (positive outcome). Room: Cleaning was moderate, still a living cockroach (on their back) and mulitple hairs, dirt were present in the bath room, small kitchen. Doors to terras couldn't be locked, it took 2.5hours to repair the lock. While I had to stay in the room for this. The day before I had a 2 hours sleep, so I was exhausted and wanted to sleep-> due to the repair I couldn't. After repair I wanted a hot shower- no hot running, warm water available. At breakfast arrival at 09.45 fruit buffet was empty, upon request and reference to the remaining breakfast time (45 minutes left before closure) still no fruits available. No other options were granted. Restaurant: for a wellness resort very poor menu-> like Surinam fast food (mostly oil fried products). It's very contradictive selling as a wellness resort and not providing healthy food stuffs. Staff were only very busy with each other Summarized for what appeared on site to be a kind of exclusive hotel/resort was a big maskarade.
