We loved our stay at Zen Apartments. Bruce is an absolute legend! Rooms are spacious and have everything you need. It’s located perfectly for what we wanted - not too close to laganas strip. Beach is about 100metres down and it’s a nice spot to swim at! There’s plenty of restaurants and supermarkets around for convenience. Also atvs and car rental places! On the corner of the apartments is Bruce’s restaurant The Corner Restaurant and we had the yummiest traditional Greek food there. We also stopped by every arvo for a cold beer and it’s so good they freeze the glasses so the beer is so cold and amazing! Then always you finish off with ouzo shots. We had the best chats with Bruce about everything, he’s just so friendly and brings the best atmosphere to the space. He’s got some really amazing plans for the property so we can’t wait to see him succeed! This place is such an epic place to stay and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Laganas.

The wifi connection was a bit weak in our room but I think it was because of the fires.

  • Adama Mykonos Boutique Hotel

We absolutely loved our stay at Adama Mykonos. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the most lovely of staff, showed to our room and explained the property. The breakfast was really good. It included a range of cereals, fruits, freshly baked cakes and croissants. Then you could order pancakes & eggs. Anything we needed help with the manager always helped us with no issues. We got an atv dropped off to us when we needed. It’s close to the airport so super convenient. There’s some cute tavernas close by! You need an atv or car as it’s quite a way away from the main areas. The rooms were spacious and modern and had everything you needed. The pool was gorgeous too, nice comfy sun beds and lounges. The airport is right next door so I loved watching the planes taking off & landing and it’s not as noisey as you think it’s nice and quiet at night time. We really would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Mykonos.

The house is beautifully maintained and has a wonderful style that makes it both elegant and welcoming. It is fully equipped and functional – you immediately feel at home, with a stunning view of the sea. From the very first moment, you are embraced by a sense of relaxation and peace, exactly what we needed. The area gives you a true feeling of privacy, as even the beautiful beach feels almost private. The hostess was very kind and always willing to assist, providing us with excellent suggestions for places to visit on the island. During the many trips we made around the island, we encountered no difficulties with transportation. We were especially happy to find such a warm and hospitable home for our vacation. We will definitely return <3

Location this place gets a 10 out of 10. The grounds were gorgeous and the pool was amazing. The view from the top of this hill was spectacular.

Unfortunately the external beauty of this place is where it stops. Because of this place’s remote location and extremely steep steep ascent to get there you are kind of reliant on being able to get something to eat or snack on the grounds and we were led to believe that even though we couldn’t get some lunch because the person who did the meal prep was not present. Someone would be available to cook or make something from 3.30pm. So we hung around the pool and swam and waited till 3:30pm we then asked could we order something even something simple like a club sandwich which they had on a menu board on the desk and we were informed that no nobody was available to cook and we wouldn’t be able to order anything. This was extremely inconvenient and we had to get out of the pool get washed up and dressed and go down into town to get something to eat. The room was pretty ordinary. There were no products/toiletries in the bathroom as was shown in images on Booking.com the mattress was very hard and the room was not very soundproof. We woken up to sounds of the breakfast preparation in the kitchen downstairs. Even though I ate breakfast indoors, I had to share my breakfast with the bees and wasps because they leave both the glass door and the door that leads to outside open so these were coming in. Breakfast was ordinary nothing that screams luxury as states in the name. I wanted to love this place but sadly we left a tad unhappy. The scary narrow road leading up and down from this accommodation was the final straw for us when leaving after checking out we encountered a car coming up this crazy dangerous road and we battled to get them to understand they needed to go back so we could pass because we couldn’t reverse back up the hill whereas they could reverse down the hill. Too many negatives for me to be able to really recommend this place.

      1. Big issue with non hotel owned parking. Nearby parking ask for your keys. Booking.com has parking in the facilities but shall be removed as it it did not belong to the hotel 2. Entire hotel is like I was visiting 25 years ago, nice concept with Imperial but unfortunately not renovated and actually in room A2 the curtains look so dirty like never washed. 3. the pictures at booking.com show a bright hotel but unfortunately do not match reality

The room was very disappointing. I booked a room on the 1st floor, as shown in the pictures, but was given one on the ground floor with no private terrace, which was also advertised in the photos. The condition of the room was quite poor. It was extremely old and, more importantly, not maintained at all. The bathroom had rust, and it was obvious that the owners make little to no effort to keep the accommodation in good condition. The furniture and equipment, like the closet and kitchen, seemed to be from the 1970s. Cleanliness was average — not super dirty, not clean either. With such an old apartment, unless it is cleaned thoroughly, it never really feels clean. On the positive side, the bed mattress was okay. I did not meet the owner personally, but my friend did and said she was nice. If the price is very cheap, it might be acceptable, but otherwise, the quality is far below expectations.
