The apartment is at a perfect location, right on the walking street in Bochum downtown. You have everything thing: shopping, restaurants, convenient stores etc there. The apartment is spacious. Room was clean and nicely decorated. There’s a common kitchen/dinning room with all the necessary kitchen ware, washing machine, etc all very new and convenient. The staff were also helpful

The rooms were ready before check-in and i was aloud to go up to the rooms that was so kind and thoughtful. The staff were lovely and spoke to you, especially Maria our cleaner 3rd floor and Bedda i think the waitress during breakfast..made it very special. The towels during swimming, the facilities and the breakfast was great.

There could have been more halal choices for breakfast. The pillows were very flat, the air-conditioning worked some days not.all or it was slow. A few stains on the carpet

Parking tariff only 24 hours, it will be nice to have a tarif for 12 hours on the parking. There another Holiday hotel across the street, which confused in the first place

The hotel amenities were not provided at all - I didn't receive slippers, I didn't receive soap, I didn't receive shower gel/anything related to this. There was only a soap dispenser that was re-filled - so other people touched it. There was no drainage in the bathroom, only in the shower, and the shower door couldn't be properly closed, therefore the bathroom was full of water and I was supposed to clean it with a towel. The bathroom door was heavy and it was closed by itself and I had to put a trash bin to keep it open - as there was no fan or window and it felt like a tropical jungle inside the bathroom after a shower. The window could be opened only 2 cm and the hotel room had no fresh air inside because of this, I tried to open the AC because it was too hot inside, but even if I put the AC to cool the room - it gives only hot air! You could leave the luggage after check-out in a room - you get a card with a number and you have to provide the card back to the receptionist and she/he was supposed to check the number from the card and give me my luggage - but there was not the case - the receptionist let me enter in that room and get my luggage (I COULD GET ANY LUGGAGE I WANT - and she didn't checked at all) The check-in took over 30 minutes - the receptionist didn't know English and he was very slow. They don't clean up the rooms if you don't request it until 12 PM next day - the reason is funny - something related to protect the environment - but this is just an excuse. There was no fridge in the room, this is the first hotel/apartment that I see in over 10 years with no fridge. The TV was blocked in a hotel mode but in a very bad manner - like you couldn't set the volume after a specific level, you couldn't change the audio tracks for the channels, and it had only some FTA satellite channels, the TV wasn't smart, just an usual old TV. There was a kettle inside the room, but no coffee, just some tea.

Everything basically. The beddings were with blood stains and the wall covered with spits and dirt. It looked like a ghetto hostel rather than what it was supposed to be. So if you are traveling with your family please stay away.
