Staff were very polite and helpful. The ladies at the reception Mrs Anne and Mrs Melanie despite the rush hour of my check in were smiling and did a great job.

A security deposit of 30 aed is now being imposed on guests. A new rule, I was told, after having stayed there 2 weeks ago. Not a wise move for such a highly rated establishment. I stay in hotels all over Bahrain, and this is the only time I have come across this. I don't know whose idea it was, but they should rethink it. It really brings down the tenor of the place.

The space was good and the bed comfortable.

No towels in any room. We had to ring twice to reception to get some. They only sent 2. We had to ring for more. Not enough glasses/crockery/utensils. The pots and pans were so old you would not have used them. Tiles broken in jacuzzi were quite dangerous Very dirty carpet Light in the kitchen flickering badly No cushions on the furniture outside for the pool. The chairs were dirty and the artificial grass dirty and worn through.
