The breakfast was excellent! The rooms were comfortable. We had a king bed and it was nice and firm. There were connections for recharging phones. The grounds were nice.

The location is very close to the town plaza however it’s still very quiet with nice gardens. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and more than enough. It’s a great choice to stay here when you visit Salento.

Everything was excellent and these aren’t really complaints, just an FYI, there are no screens on the windows (screens would probably detract from the overall ambiance). Rather, there is a window you can open or keep locked, which can make the room stuffy if kept closed. Another thing to be aware of (again, a complaint, just an observation), is that because there is really only one person on duty for a 24 hour shift, if they need to step away from the reception desk, they will lock the main entrance door and you will need to ring the doorbell to be let in(it won’t take them long to open the door for you).

Mauricio and the rest of the staff were excellent, ensuring everything was going well. I checked in midweek and my room was ready early, which was very helpful. The hotel itself is a short block to the plaza and Main Street Salento (restaurants, public transport and tours). Even with the proximity, it was a very tranquil environment (quiet). I had more than enough space in the room. Very safe, walkable area (police station is not far, same with banks and the ATM). If you want to save space in your luggage, they have a hairdryer that you can borrow. They also can help you with your laundry if you’re staying a few days. Breakfast was very filling and cooked to order daily with an assortment of fresh fruit, local breads, scrambled or fried eggs (can add ham, cheese, tomato and onion), pancakes, juice and coffee/teas. They also have water (hot/cold) all day long so you can fill up your water bottle or have a coffee/tea. There is also an in room safe to keep belongings secured.

The lighting in our room rooms was dimmer than we’d like. It was adequate, but we would’ve liked it brighter.

We spent two nights at this charming, small hotel located just off the main square in Salento. Mauricio, the manager, was gracious and helpful, suggesting restaurants and places to see. He also saved a parking spot in front of the hotel for us. Our rooms were nicely decorated with comfortable beds and a safe. Breakfast was outstanding and plentiful. You could have anything or everything on the menu, including eggs, banana pancake, yogurt, and cereal, plus juice, fruit, coffee, and bread. We would stay there again if we return to Salento.

Super comfortable beds, great quality furniture and honestly, the softest linens I’ve ever felt. Service was spectacular (Mauricio y Adriana). And the breakfast was divine. Only tiny complaint is that the wifi is not the greatest as it connects and disconnects often but that’s it!

Reception speaks no English. Rooms are very small, basically the only space between bed and table was to walk. Windows are just wood, but it was not cold at night, actually sometimes got even warmer than expected. Every day after cleaning there is super strong smell, I wish they ventilated the rooms more when doing it.

Was already using booking messages upfront to ask about possible activities they offer with their partners and they sent some options of the tours. We could check-in early for free because our room was already ready sooner than stated time. There is nice backyard/garden inside of the property where you can chill, there are tables and seats outside rooms under roof or also on the grass part, little fountain also. Breakfast was really nice, freshly prepared eggs by preference, pancakes, coffee, fruits and some fresh warm pastry. Last day when checking out early, they even prepared a breakfast for us almost an hour before usually, which we really appreciate. We also took a horse tour with their recommended partner. It was very nice experience, horses seemed in good shape and healthy. Hotel is less than a minute of walk from the main square, where and around is everything you will need in this town, location wise is pure 10/10, at night is completely quiet somehow, you even hear birds in the morning. We organized a private car back to the Pereira airport, it was around 10 percent more than Uber to get there and it is worth it, driver was already waiting for us much before to make sure we do not wait him, we could also pick if we want to pay to the hotel with cash or card, or directly to the driver.

The hotel has a great location, everything is within easy reach. The rooms and common areas are well maintained and extremely clean, the staff is very kind and helpful, the breakfast is more than wonderful, there is a nice and pleasant garden. Nearby are cafes, restaurants, shops, jeeps that go to Kokora... everything. Thank you for the hospitality, we will come again. I highly recommend!

Nothing, everything was perfect.

We had a wonderful 2 nights stay at Salento Plaza. The hotel and especially the little garden are beautiful. Everything was perfectly clean and the staff more than welcoming and friendly. After we had arrived in the early morning hours we could store our baggage’s and even were provided a breakfast. Well-sized rooms with everything you need and Solento’s main square is just around the corner. We would definitely come here again!
