If you are travelling by car make sure you are cautious when entering the property. The gate is on the side of a very acute curve making it difficult to see upcoming traffic.

Incredible views. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming, especially with arranging tours and airport transfers for us. Location is a short walk away from the town center.

Although my husband liked it, the beds were very hard. My hips felt bruised from it after a few nights, however the peace and quiet made up for it! The location although super close to town, gets very dark at night. We brought a flashlight to walk home and it was totally fine. We did have a roach type visitor crawl onto me in the middle of the night that sent me flying out of bed, however this was more our fault for leaving the window open during the day.

This location was perfect! Just a 10 minute leisurely walk from town meant you were close to everything, but in a peaceful quiet environment. The host was SO kind and lovely to chat to and her three dogs were a highlight for us. Not to mention the views around the property. The biggest bonus is that you get them all to yourself! There are hammocks and benches around the premises to soak in the view, and thanks to the location above the valley, you’ll be fully ready to relax (I fell asleep multiple times the hammocks, just listening to the river in the distance). Loved our time here!

-Internet does not work. -Close to Salento. Could be a pleasant walk in the morning when not raining, but dark during night. We had a car though. -Place would deserve to be guided by a gardener. Beautiful "Mirador".

Staff friendly and make.you feel really comfortable. Flexible and available at all times. Open to share suggestions and ideas about places to visit.

Wonderful place. Incredible views down the valley and very peaceful. Easy walk into Salento. Liliana and Alejandra were so friendly and made me feel at home. I was sad to leave and hope I can return some day.

I didn’t like the lack of WiFi, the fact that they didn’t change our towels during the three days that we where there.

I liked the location, the dogs, the nature around it, the view, the breakfast prepared with love.

What a fabulous stay! The owner is so friendly and helpful, with advice about where to go, restaurants, coffee shops etc - she even gave us a brief Spanish lesson one morning! We had the room with multiple beds - the room was basic but the beds were really comfortable. The best part was the view - looking straight out into the garden and to the mountains beyond. The owner puts food out for the birds every morning so we had a toucan outside the bedroom window most mornings. The place is a few hundred metres from the centre of town which means you feel right in the countryside. But it was a straightforward walk to town even at night, though you need a torch in the dark

the room would benefit from a lamp for reading. it would be good to be able to come and go without someone having to unlock and lock the gate after you- we didn’t want to make people get up to do this, and also being locked in isn’t a great feeling for overall safety.

the views are extraordinary and it’s delightful to watch birds in the garden and hang out in the hammocks. breakfasts were delicious and the staff absolutely delightful and very helpful.

No wifi - made getting things done difficult . Host offered up hotspot but that was limiting to when host was around . Not ideal . Struggle with hot water - hot water for shower was extremely hard to get . Had to go to Carlos multiple times to check the settings of the boiler . He had to finagle it many times for us to get some hot water . It was like a lucky draw .This is my breaking point .

The stay was affordable and location was great , close to the city yet far enough . Panoramic views of the valley. Spotted a Toucan in the yard. Host Liliana was warm n helpful , so was Carlos .

This place was full of surprises: 1. Read the fine print : its cash only. Needless to say we were unprepared when we arrived at check in. What stunned us even more was the lady at check in informed us to find another hotel if cash payment was an issue. Might have been a language barrier, but we just needed to find an atm! 2. The shower drain barely drained.... so our feet basically were in standing water 3. we found a chef's knife on the lawn....imagine how dangerous this could have been if our 2 year old got a hold of it first. We were also not the only family with small children staying there at the same time. 4. The place could generally use more tidying up. We really wanted to love this place. Especially as it is advertised good for families. 5. We didnt realize breakfast was not included until the very end - our fault for not clarifying. Breakfast was just OK... but we would recommend you go into town for it. For the money, you'd get a much better breakfast in town: portion and quality.

The location and property views were amazing. A quick 10 minute walk into town which makes it easy to plan your day to fit in some quiet time or naps if you have small children. The owner was very hospitable and kind.
