There was a lot about slamming doors and we got messages feeling like we were getting scolded for slamming even when I don’t know how we could have closed it quieter. Also cockerels can be loud in the morning but I think it added to the ambience.

This was a really lovely place, hosts were really friendly and gave us lots of information on how to do the coffee tours and other things. The room had amazing views and was a really good space and very clean.

Sebastián and his mother are incredibly nice,simpatico and helpful, room & bathroom (hot shower) are simple but super clean. Just a few minutes walk from the center. I would have loved to stay longer 😊

I could not get the hot water to work. Apparently there was a trick to getting it to work, but I could not work this out. The owner shouted at me a lot. I speak little Spanish and she spoke zero English, I felt she kept talking loudly at me and made zero effort to communicate (for example- using Google translate). Could not use the kitchen, not even for hot water. I have never stayed at a hotel/hostel where I cannot make a hot drink. However they did warn of this before booking the room.

The property was clean. Good location. Good check in process.

Everything was perfect, the owner was very attentive and helpful with everything. My room was cleaned daily and I was even given a fresh towels every time. Great location and nice quiet atmosphere. Thank you so much for everything.

If you will just pay normal level of attention and close the doors softly that will still be not enough, you will get a message that you are doing it “very very” hard :) I believe it was misunderstanding. Place is ultra sensitive to noise as the landlords are trying to keep the best experience for all of the guests, but everything else is very good

This was made clear before we booked but the Cockerels are very loud and start making noise at around 4am. There is nothing the hostel can do about this obviously but just so others are aware - bring ear plugs!

Gorgeous clean big room with beautiful views. A little out of town but easy 10 min walk to the main plaza and 15 mins from the bus station. Amazing value for money.

Only downside is that we had no window to ventilate our room (we did have a window connected to the kitchen, but we missed fresh air), and the showers were lukewarm.

The hosts are super friendly, you can see that they enjoy opening the hostel and you feel very welcome. They gave us lots of recommendations: things to do, how to get there, the best restaurants, ... We did most of the recommendations and they did not dissapoint! 😊 The room was clean, cosy and nice. It's for sure worth it to stay in this hostel!
