The breakfast could be a little bit more varied. The room was big and with a nice patio but some details were a little old fashioned.

The hotel is located in the south-west side of the island, away from downtown, which is amazing because you can really live the “holidays on an island” type of vibes, and avoid the city center. The rooms are surrounded by a luxurious garden, quiet and relaxing. You have few beach spots on the other side of the road, to enjoy the sunset and some diving. The staff was incredibly kind and available, a special mention to Dorothy, an amazing person who went above and beyond to organize for us all the activities and arrangements (transports, trips, boat rides, vehicle rent etc).

The service was poor. Nobody at the pool until at 16, breakfast stopped at 9, no clean drinking water, asked to clean the couch in the middle of our stay.

It was perfect for us.

The reservations manager, Christian, was absolutely amazing! He answered my enquiry and booking at 6am after an unhappy and soul destroying experience at another hotel on the island and made sure that our room was made up from 9:30am instead of the usual 3pm time. He and his staff also went above and beyond to ensure that I had a the best private and romantic dinner to propose to my girlfriend in the space of 6 hours!!! - Something that several hotels and contact failed to even respond to for over a week previously!!! Honestly cannot thanks Christian and his staff anymore. Special mention to Johana who promptly answered any questions I had, the “Magic man” Alex, who hand designed the flower arrangements and the private dinner space, Jesus who cooked the most amazing 3 course meal for our dinner and I can’t forget to mention Luz who greeted us every morning with coffee, fresh juice and breakfast. Anyone looking for a magical, private and romantic getaway so look no further than Miraflores! Hasta luego mi familia ❤️

Just to note that the hotel's location is fantastic for a quiet break away but if you don't have your transportation -scooter or golf buggy rented- then you will be relying on taxis to get around. The hotel's taxi partner run by Nelson is excellent though.

We had an excellent stay at this property. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and immaculately clean - so inviting that you can find yourself wanting to spend more time there than planned. The grounds are stunning, with lush natural surroundings that create a peaceful, countryside atmosphere. The pool area is particularly appealing and well-maintained. The service truly stood out during our visit. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and their attention to detail made our stay memorable. The chef prepared delicious meals, and the bartender crafted excellent cocktails that we very much enjoyed.

Beautiful well presented rooms with very helpful staff. They helped us with buggie rental to get around the island. Although not on a beach it is right on the sea and a short 5 minute walk from water activity area where you can swim and snorkel.

This was by far the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. Even with a last-minute booking, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs- including arranging my airport transfer and making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. Nelson, the driver, was incredibly kind and full of helpful island tips. The hospitality throughout my stay was exceptional. I was greeted with a refreshing welcome drink and warm smiles. The staff were always cheerful and genuinely cared about my experience. The chef made every meal fresh to order and constantly checked in to ensure everything was perfect. I loved that all the staff were locals—they gave amazing recommendations and helped arrange tours and a buggy rental. Their pride in their island and in making my stay unforgettable really stood out. The hotel’s peaceful location, away from the busy areas, made for a wonderfully relaxing escape. Georgette, the hotel’s in-house magazine publisher. Her magazine was beautifully curated, offering rich stories about the island’s history and hidden gems. She even took time out of her day to give me a personal tour—an incredibly thoughtful and memorable gesture Tony, the owner, was equally amazing—genuine, helpful, and clearly invested in creating a space where guests feel at home. I was moved by the complimentary room upgrade—it was stunning, with a private pool, a hanging bed on the terrace, and plenty of space to unwind. Every corner of the property was immaculately maintained and well designed . My stay at this hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. It was relaxing, beautiful, and far exceeded my expectations. We went in a group of 4, my parents, partner and myself. Upon arrival my parents mentioned that they celebrated their honeymoon 40 years ago in San Andrés, the hotel of pure good will upgraded their room for a suite which I thought it was a great gesture. Facilities were superb, great wooden structures not corroded by the salty breeze, reliably wi-fi, beautiful gardens, well maintained property and facilities, excellent pool, breakfast range was diverse and tasty. Also, hot showers and tv channels were provided.

The breakfast was a strict choice of 3 or 4 options in common with many of the hotels we stayed in across Columbia, we would rather a buffet but this was not the norm.

The hotel is on the West coast and about 25 mins by 'Mule hire vehicle' or a bit less in a taxi from the town. It is a quiet location and some of the rooms are lodges set in floral gardens including a pool and bar.

I'd like to start by highlighting the hotel staff: Luz Elena! She was so fun and enjoyable to talk to! What a kind, caring, and sweet woman, and she's so welcome in our home in Europe! Dorothy and Luz Elena are charming and very helpful! Our star taxi driver, Nelson! Respectful, fun, and a true professional, he showed us a lot about the island and its culture. Thank you, Nelson! The exquisite food was on another level by the chef, who pampered me with those extra arepitas for breakfast and the exquisite guava juice! I'll definitely be back to this wonderful place! The hotel is simply beautiful and perfect! Everything is surrounded by trees and nature. The suite is gorgeous and has a delicious jacuzzi! The hotel is close to beautiful cliffs for swimming. It is a small gem on the island. My friend kept remarking that it was like a private finca. MIraflores is the perfect getaway on San Andres. Off the main path, but still accessible via taxi. The staff can help your organize your stay. The new pool is fantastic and the rooms feel private and are very comfortable.
