How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Not a major issue, but worth mentioning—the room furniture is a bit dated. That said, the rooms are extremely comfortable. Also, some showers have curtains instead of enclosed cabins, which may be a consideration for some guests.
Excellent location—within walking distance to several shopping centers and great restaurants. The breakfast offers a good variety and was enjoyable each morning. We also loved the in-room amenities, which added to the comfort of our stay. A special touch we really appreciated: the manager sent us something thoughtful each day, which made us feel truly welcome. Wonderful attention to detail!

The stay was wonderful. Veronica made the welcome special with great humanity and professionalism—someone like her truly deserves a promotion. Hansel and Cristian were also impeccable, providing world-class service. The kitchen and its team go above and beyond to satisfy every guest’s palate, using only fresh, top-quality ingredients—I personally witnessed their logistics at dawn and can confirm that quality truly makes a difference. This is my second time at this hotel, a true home away from home, and it certainly won’t be my last! I highly recommend it for both family trips and intercontinental business travel.

the Gym
Location is perfect for my office in Medellin in el Cross Building and the Breakfast is very good. Jacuzzi was nice as well, however the gym is way too small

No complains at all.
Staff was very friendly. From the moment we walked in Christian the bellman was so helpful and courteous throughout our stay. John in room service was always so nice and the food that we ordered two of the nights was delicious. The breakfast waiters, unfortunately, I don’t remember most of their names, but they all were very serviceable. If I am not mistaken one of them was Adonis. The location of this hotel was safe and at walking distance to 2 malls and restaurants. We were very happy with our hotel selection.

The bar does not have any food service. And you cannot order room service and eat it outside. The staff is not the most professional. Especially when there are a few working at the same time, you are NOT the priority.
This place is well located and close to everywhere you need and want to go in Medellin. Quick food options are on site, and the hotel is easy to find.

There were many things. Firstly it was the staff. They were friendly and helpful. We don’t speak Spanish and they went out of their way to help us. The room was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious. The location could not be better.
