Good location and if you’re arriving at night makes sure you let them know your estimated time of arrival as the gate would need to be opened for you, the guesthouse felt safe and has a tasteful interior. I will recommend this to my friends.

This was an amazing place in Bogotá which I highly recommend! The rooms were clean, spacious and with a very nice bathroom. Mine had a great view as well. The beds were comfortable, the place felt very personal and the common area was really nice. Great clean and well-equipped kitchen. Such a cute cat and dog that lived there. And the staff were great! So friendly and helpful when I arrived late after midnight.

Super nice place -- well equipped shared kitchen, hot water shower with a non- see through towel (uncommon), very clean, super friendly/helpful host. Great location and close to everything you might need. Easy check-in and can come and go as you please. Beautiful historic building. About a $8 uber from the airport

The guest house is perfectly located, in the heart of the Candalaria. Because it set back from the road, behind a locked gate, it feels quiet and safe. Breakfast is not served, but guests have use of the kitchen, and Cafe Origines is just across the road and serves great coffee and breakfasts. The hosts are friendly and communicate well (with some English).

There is no sign - so initially is a little hard to find.

I had a wonderful stay at Magdalena Guest House. It is well located, close to all the major attractions in La Candelaria and surrounded by good restaurants and cafés. My room was lovely with a view of the garden and the bed was super comfy. Laura was in contact before my arrival with directions on how to find and enter the property. She have me a warm welcome and was very attentive throughout my stay. I would not hesitate to recommend this property and would definitely stay there again.

When we stayed there were not too many people staying there, but the wooden floors can be quite loud so you can hear others move around in their room or in the hallway. On Friday night the sound of the street was also pretty noisy. However I think that is something most places struggle with over the weekend. In our case this was only Friday night. The other two nights it was not an issue. The room is quite simple. Some extra hooks to hang your clothes or decoration might give it a finishing touch (thats just a small detail).

Very nice and clean place to stay while discovering Bogota. The room and common areas were very clean and decent. The bed is okay, a bit hard, but not too much comparing to other places we have stayed. There is water, coffee and tea that you can take and the location is just great. You can just walk out to discover la Candalaria. If you are looking for accommodation with good quality for a fair price, we can definitely recommend.

The room with private bathroom are located to the street side where some noise enter especially from loud motorbikes also during the night. But no pb with earplugs.

The location is great for the historical district and walking to all the museums. The beds are comfortable and lovely friendly staff. I loved the house cat too. It was a purrfect stay.

A calm space to come back to after exploring Bogota with a lovely host! It's within walking distance of some of the main sites but tucked away so you can get a good night's sleep.

Everything was as it should be, reasonable prize.

Wonderful little gem with birds chirping behind the fence. Were welcomed by the best and more considerate host. Felt both at home and safe immediately. Best location in Candelaria with everything close in walking distance. Supermarket Oxxo next door.

We had a wonderful stay. The host, Maria, gave good recommendations and added greatly to our enjoyment of our stay. The common room and shared kitchen are welcoming. Everything was very clean. The location is walkable to most of the museums and plazas that we wanted to visit. Only downside is there is no soundproofing in the guesthouse- we could hear our fellow guests coming and going at all hours. But we would stay at the guesthouse again!
