The room we were given (right by the reception) felt a bit too small for the two of us and all our luggage. It was also a bit shabby and could use some extra cleaning.

The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. They helped us organise an early morning taxi to the airport. Warm water runs smoothly in the showers. The location is great, very central and easy to find.

The old house means there is poor noise insulation so it can get loud on weekends.

One of the oldest houses in Salento right in the center of town. I came for two nights and extended twice. Staff very helpful and kind; laundry service included; the private room was comfortable and very cheap and generally it felt like I was living in the comfort of a home for a while.

The man who runs the hostel is very welcoming and is available to offer advice on the village and surrounding area, as well as help with questions and doubts about the area. The place was clean, and the women's bathroom is super comfortable and spacious; the shower is large and the water is hot. The hostel's location remains its best advantage, especially considering the price.

Unfortunately, the rooms do not have proper walls it is just artificial walls made out of wood or other material that are really not soundproof and I mean it - if somebody took a shower it felt like he did it next to us

The kitchen, both the upstairs one and the downstairs one by the pool, could use some new cooking pots and pans, other than this all of my 5 stays over the past few years are great!

This place is in a really convenient location, right on the main strip with shops, cafes, restaurants, and a minute’s walk away from the main square. The bed was comfortable and warm. While the building is old, it’s well maintained and clean.

Because of the location, it can get noisy. Also wooden floors and paper thin walls. I let them know in advance that I was arriving very early from Medellín and was told to call them when I arrived, but no one ever answered. So just note you won't be able to get into the hostel before 8.30 - 9 am.

Location right on the main street is. It's a ten minute walk from the bus station. Bed and pillows were extremely comfy. The place was always very clean! They let me check in early and leave my bags all day after check out. Well-equiped kitchen and a nice rest area if you need to chill.

Walls are thin so not great if you're a light sleeper. The reception doesn't open until late in the morning. But otherwise a fantastic experience!

Best location! The bus drops you off at the central square and you walk 2 blocks up the main road to the hostel. Great location for the viewpoint, shops and any tours. I was originally worried about having only one bathroom shared but it was never an issue. They even stored my suitcase for 3 days while I backpacked through the national park!b

Very noisy unless you sleep in the back section of the hostel. We didn't have a problem since we slept in the cabin furthest back The rooms are objectively small, can be a problem if traveling with big backpacks

The staff is just amazing, they welcome you and make you feel part of a family. We felt right at home, they gave us recommendations on the city and places to eat, as well as for the rest of the trip in Colombia The place is rustic, has a strange yet charming layout and decoration (may not appeal to everyone though) Location is great, just a couple of minutes from the main square, the view from the balcony allows for some cool people watching and the atmosphere (especially in the evening) is fascinating The kitchen is spacious and convenient, unfortunately the oven was not working but the stove was sufficient The pets were just adorable

I didn't find the facilities to be very clean. We had a bathroom at the back of the hostel but we noticed it was not cleaned for the entirety of our stay (3 days).

The location of this place is great, so close to the main square and the kitchen was well equipped.

There was an event on the weekend we were there on the main plaza so you could hear music from the rooms until very late in the evening. So if you want a quieter stay, maybe stay somewhere a bit further from the main plaza (not sure if this is an issue all year round).

Rooms were comfortable and clean. The showers were also decent. The staff were super lovely.

We had all we needed, so nothing to improve. Could be some noisy sometimes, but you can’t expect all the good things without the rest. Anyway, the city is starting to sleep around 10:30 PM, so it’s ok.

The very central position and the staff friendliness. You need something, you will get it. Comfortable and cozy space. Wooden floors. Nice to live here.

It says that there is a 24/7 reception. We were at the hostel at 7 am and until 11 am no one showed up. Also they didn't respond on booking or WhatsApp. The next day when we left the hostel it was quite the same. No one in the reception in the morning.
