No housekeeper ever came by to change my towels or to ensure the room was made up.

Location is fantastic. It is located in a great area, very safe, and the street is one of the prettiest in Bogota. It has nearby restaurants, cafes and just a few blocks away from the bank, the Andino and Retiro malls. On top the hotel is great, room is comfortable and clean, hotel staff very kind and helpful. Think it offers the best value in the area. Highly recommend it.

There was a door in the room that leads to another room, of course it was locked but I suppose I personally like the wall, assuming you can book two rooms together as a family to have access directly. Already first time I did not like lightning and also this is still the same thing. At night, even with all lights on, it felt dark, I strongly believe that stronger bulbs are not just wanted but mandatory, at least one of them as you can turn them on with 2 or 3 switches anyway, to assure that people who want light get light. There were dishes for two people, but only one fork and one spoon, we wish everything would come in pair.

As we already stayed in Bogota in general several times, and specifically in this hotel before once, we knew what to expect. But this time was actually better, as previous time we were in one other suite that has smaller shower, but this one has noticeably bigger, also the table was bigger in this room, so for sure if we are in the city again we will pick it again. Every day when cleaning they also fill a big reusable 1.5L bottle with fresh drinkable water for free. There is fridge and microwave. Reception speaks fluent English, they always reply to booking message or email within hours or even faster. They are always friendly, all of them. We asked upfront to have hair dryer in the room all days and it was already waiting for us in the bathroom, as usually you can get it if you ask at the reception, but I believe is expected to return it after using it if no longer needed. Location is great as it gets, it is about 7 minute walk to shopping center Andino and Atlantis and Zona T, which will be your main restaurants and shops areas in El Chico. It is about 40-45min away from the airport with Uber and about 35-45min from Candelaria depending on traffic. Even being so close to more lively area as populated restaurant and shopping streets, it is basically quiet at night as it is just enough away from crowds and close enough to walk whenever needed. We already stayed in Bogota in around 6 or 7 different hotels, and this one is one of two favorite so far, is hard to compare them directly as they are in different areas and it just depends where we need or want to be.

You do listen to noises in other bedrooms, so your sleep depends quite a lot on others guests. No gym unfortunately in the building. Rooms/double beds are smallish unless you have a suite.

Location is great and you can walk to many nice little coffes and restaurants around. Lots of shopping possibilities nearby too. Very nice sheets. AC working very well, shower with lots of pressure. No iron or hairdryer in the room, but you can ask for one.

I am sensitive to noise and unfortunately our room was on the 2nd floor facing a busy street that had vehicles basically all day and all night. If you can get a room much higher and off the street the place would be perfect.

Everything about the hotel staff and location were great. Small language barrier on MY part as unfortunately I know only an itsy bit of Spanish. The staff were wonderful in working with me to make sure that I understood everything.

The ventilation system in the hotel doesn’t work well. Every day from 6pm the unpleasant smell coming from the kitchen/restaurant where breakfast is prepared enters the rooms, not only on floor 2 but also on floor 8. The windows of the suites on level 2 are blocked. It’s good for the privacy but blocks the light. No smart-tv (no Netflix) Cleaning needs sometimes more attention. When a guest is staying for a longer period the bathroom/toilet should be cleaned more thoroughly and sheets should be changed more regularly.

I stayed here about two weeks in suite 2s and the last night in 8s. Very convenient suites, suite 2s is even more spacious than the others.perfect location in the beautiful, safe, upscale and not so busy neighborhood Retiro with nice coffee bars close by. Walking distance to Zona Rosa. Very kind and helpful staff. Amazing shower, big shower head and high waterpressure.

Before reservation I needed advice about which room to take and they suggested me what I noticed later more expensive room than needed, I just wanted sofa. Turns out that their website and booking rooms are named differently for same rooms, which is very confusing for both them and us travelers. Some days before checking we received via booking message a spam link, which sadly happens often last years on booking as I travel often and keep seeing this. At checkin for some reason I paid around +3% more than booking price showed, and it is definitely not for currency exchange rate difference as COP is going down not up, and I have free conversions with my card. Bathroom is very small, about 2x2 meters, shower about 1x1 meter. This is actually very bad, especially because the room type I choose, king suite, and in general all photos of bathrooms of all room types here on booking show very fancy and comfortable shower, looking like there is even a shelf to sit on, like i tiny spa or sauna in a way. I liked the place but specifically because of the bathroom and shower size I would either pick another room or another hotel since can't be sure what I will get. Bed was big, but sadly made of two mattresses, you can definitely feel the gap between, also I have backpain every morning as mattresses were sinking a lot, and I am not too heavy, was probably just worn out so much already. Overall very good place to stay.

Contacted them already before booking via email and they replied fast with good english. Also later with booking messages. Reception speaks good fluent english. Location is very good, as I often staid in the city before, this one is the best if you plan to be around Zona T area, it is about 5-10min walk to there, depending how fast you walk and mostly how many red lights you need to wait to cross the road. There are several restaurants towards the direction of Zona T, three big shopping malls and other cafes and bakeries, etc. The area also feels safe, also when walking in the dark, never did too late of course, but until 9 or 10pm there are always many people on the streets. There is no hairdryer in the room, but at the reception we asked for one and returned later. Bed was very big, but sadly made out of two mattresses and you can definitely feel the gap in between. Breakfast was always fresh and tasty, they make eggs by your preference, there were also fruits and drinks and some pastry, I wish choice was more wide, but if you stay 3 or 4 days you will be fine with making different combinations of what you take.
