The room was nice with a nice balcony that the jacuzzi was on, the kitchen area was nicely equipped for preparing meals. The bed was comfy and the a/c worked nice.

The condition of the apartment was so bad that I decided to move out early and book another hotel despite having already paid for this one. Here’s the full review: Upon arrival the first apartment I booked could not be used due to a broken air conditioning system. Instead, I was offered a replacement apartment, which I had to accept due to a lack of alternatives (I arrived at 2 a.m. in the morning). Unfortunately, this replacement had numerous issues: Cleanliness: The room was dirty, with stains on the floor and bed linen. The towels were also not clean. (See pictures.) Facilities: The refrigerator was extremely loud and had to be unplugged. The hot tub, which was explicitly advertised in the headline of the listing, did not work, was filthy upon arrival, and appeared deliberately manipulated: the hot water tap was taken off, allowing only cold water to flow into the tub. Additionally, the pool does not heat—this is misleading advertising! Hot Water: The warm water supply isn’t stable and sometimes non existent. Water will turn cold abruptly just to be boiling hot 15 seconds later. Condition of the Apartment: The walls are peeling, there is significant mould (see image) furniture is damaged, dirty (e.g. disgusting white stains on the fridge) and everything appears to have been last maintained and cleaned years ago. A dated Event calendar (“Cali 2022-2023”) on the coffee table reflects the overall state of the apartment. Security: The safe was unusable. The receptionist tried fixing it, which meant that i had to spend around 1.5h waiting in the Apartment so he could try several times. In the end it didn’t work. So instead of leaving my valuables in the apartment that didn’t feel too safe, I was walking around with them in the streets of Colombia. Conclusion: The accommodation is in a deplorable state—many things are broken, dirty, or unusable. Since the owners are unreachable, problems cannot be resolved on-site.

The only thing I did not like was that there were a few little bugs on the floor in the kitchen but nothing bad.

I loved the full kitchen and coffee with the balcony jazuzzi. The main reason I enjoyed Juanambu was because of the service by the staff. Both hotel managers were helpful and amazing people. I will be back.

This hotel has a very friendly and welcoming staff. The location and the view are exceptional! It gives you a bit of a tranquil experience on the outside of the city. Definitely a 10/10! The view with the jacuzzi tub on the balcony. The room itself has a very cozy character with the option to cook.

I have been watching this apartment for years, planning the stay in one of the properties, and hoping for the one with the more open views. The problem with booking through Booking is that you don't know which property you end up with - we were assigned the one with the hottub looking at the parking and the adjacent buildings (with full view of the neighbours). The place could do with more greenery, for privacy purposes, but one can't really do much about that. Where to begin... Perhaps because I had the place so idealized, perhaps because the price and the photos lead you to think it has a certain *level of service*, but we were initially quite disapointed. The place is old and in need of an upgrade: the electronics are dated, furniture aged (especially the outdoors chairs: we were advised against sitting "too aggressively" as the chairs are brittle and might break), and WiFi fairly slow. The hot tub needs the drain adjusted so as not to drain too quickly, requiring you to add cold water all the time. The apartment is stocked for a stay of 1-2 days tops (toilet paper, cheap coffee, 2-3 teabags, 2-3 bags of sugar), regardless of how long you book it for; any additional items need to be solicited at the service desk, which we were informed of after we already bought all the stuff. While there are basic pots and pans, there is no salt, so if you plan to cook - bring everything. The place grows on you, one learns to adapt to the conditions and we did end up having a good time, but the price is too high for what the place offers at this time.

The location is great, the view from the apartment facing forward is great, although the balcony is exposed to the views of the entire neighbourghood. Despite initial disapointment, the apartment grew on us - it is well located, albeit a bit of an uphill hike from the center of Cali, but one gets to the Parque San Antonio in 15 minutes, walking slowly. The bed is huge and very comfortable, the temperature in the apartment is great and cool even WITHOUT the airconditioning, and the fridge is spacious. The staff at the reception are all kind, and the hot tub is fabulous, once we got it to stop draining all the time :)
