Like of AC. Very hot at night. Lack of pool. You cannot really enter the sea. Waves are to strong.

Perfect for tranquility vacation. Calm and beautiful place. But if you looking something fun you need to take taxi.

There is no air conditioning. Not sure if a big problem since the rooms are built in a way that interiors are not super hot, however, for this humid / hot weather conditions, AC would great.

Staff/Owners are super friendly and helpful. Facilities are superb, it is beautifully built. Food is delicious. It is 5 minutes away by car from Palomino.

This was a very relaxing place to stay we loved our individual cabin under the palm trees with a view of the sea. The staff were super nice and friendly and we enjoyed our breakfast and had some nice salads for lunch. In the evening we went into Palomino, which although small has a few nice bars and restaurants. During our stay the sea was always rough so we didn't risk going in too deep. We had a lovely chilled week here which was just what we were looking for.

Everything was great.

Diego and has team are absolutely amazing. It's a great place with a private beach. The resort is very private and hidden in the palm trees. We had everything what's needed, the bungalows are very eco and natural build with wood with nice white walls and floors. It has a nice restaurant and various choices of breakfast. 6min by tuk tuk to Palomino (you can also walk around 1h by the beach), 1h to Tayrona park and 2h to Santa Marta airport. We used both taxi and bus and both ways are okay, you can catch the bus right in front of the resort.

We didn’t know that the bungalows were not equipped with AC which made it somehow uncomfortable to sleep otherwise that were very nice and neat . Make sure you bring your repellent lots of it.The staff could be a little more flexible no complaints overall but there is a certain lack of flexibility.

Absolutely nothing

This place is perfect. The huts are beautiful and you’re on your own private beach. This whole stretch of beach is cut off from Palomino by river mouth and is empty and also much more beautiful. Just take a tuk tuk into town for 15k, it’s so worth it.

I loved everything!

Everything was wonderful! The place is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and quite.. perfect to relax and recharge your energies on a beautiful and basically private beach! Still you have good transportation if you wish to go to Palomino (5m) and have a bit more of movement and party. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable (I loved the open air WC) right in front of the beach. Food was delicious and all staff super friendly and paying attention to any needs. It was my favourite place in Colombia and I will definitely come back!! Thank you Casalina for the good energies 🍀

Strange smell in the room. WiFi sometimes not working.

We liked almost everything. Nice 6 cabañas at the beach within palm trees. Long beach to walk and watch the sunrises and sunsets. Restaurant opened from 7 am till 9 pm with the last order at 8 pm. The food is really tasty. They have the best colombian cook and other helping ladies. Outside bathroom was a nice experience. Communication with the reception lady via WhatsApp and ordering food via WhatsApp so all is on time. We would stay again without any hesitation.

The property itself is beautiful! Location is perfect, very peaceful, the beach is one step away. The sound of the ocean is just amazing. Food in the restaurant (a la carte) is delicious.

It would be nice to have a kiddies menu available. A small pool for kids will also be great due to the fact that the ocean is so wild. We missed the hammocks and the security boxes in the rooms that were there before.

Amazing location. Beautiful and comfortable bungalow. Deli food. We have been here many times over the past few years and we always love it. Francis was lovely and helpful and took great care of us.

One small, tiny gripe - there's no night porter so the gate is closed and locked at 10pm. If you drive into town and come back after 10pm you'll have to leave the car outside and clamber over the fence to get in.

Just a stunning place, beautiful cabins only metres from the sea. Lots of tree cover. A hammock and two long sofa-type cushions in each outdoor area. Private, open-air shower and toilet area. And a weird and lovely soft foggy light too thanks to the humidity.

You can hear the sea at night (nice!) but also lot of trucks coming by as the lies by the road. I would consider installing windows in the cabana as the noise of the traffic was loud. But it would still still stay there!

Staff was very friendly, it was a bit of a shame that nobody spoke a word of English, or tried to talk a little bit slower Spanish. Breakfast was super, rooms were very good, nice beds at the beach. Distance to the town was a bit long, only transport was a tuc tuc, which was over the busy road a bit scary. Diner was okay, perhaps some more little bites for during the day would be nice.

Beautifully located with a remote and super calm beautiful beach. The fresh crepes for breakfast were out of this world. The bungalow is super nice and to hear the ocean at night was special.

Mosquito net in one of the beds was not properly installed and it was very uncomfortable to sleep

As some people have mentioned, the property is right off the highway, so you can sometimes hear trucks rumbling by, especially if you’re in the restaurant, and especially at night. However, as someone who is from a city, this seemed minor and inconsequential, and anyways from our bungalow I only heard the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. I would also recommend bringing (and using) bug spray. There are mosquito nets over the beds, and we didn’t see any mosquitos in the bungalow, but at dusk on the beach we did end up getting a number of bites that didn’t really start to itch until later. Not sure if they were from mosquitos or something else, but either way they were annoying.

This place was everything I hoped for and more. Excellent location on a beautiful beach that was not crowded at all - we practically had it to ourselves. Loved stepping out of the room and having the ocean just a few steps away. The bungalow was super cute and spacious, with both indoor sleeping area and covered outdoor lounging area and hammock. Absolutely loved the open-air bathroom and shower. All the staff were so kind and beyond accommodating, even setting up tables and chairs for us to have breakfast on the beach. Breakfast was delicious (the cayeye was amazing!), and we also enjoyed lunch and dinner, and cocktails, from the hotel restaurant at reasonable prices. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.
