The view and location

The service was really bad. The pool and other social areas are in bad shape for the value. The food was terrible.

Incredible view from our room, Lovely and spacious room, rainfall shower. Wonderful view for sunrise.

Needed to give 1hr notice on dinner order, not a problem just needed to plan ahead

This place is special! Quiet and chill, beautifully peaceful, exceptionally situated among beaches and majestic views of jungle and mountains, an easy walk along the beach to where the river meets the sea. The staff were amazingly attentive and caring. Kindness through and through. Healthy and delicious food, pools are lovely, ... I felt like I was staying on a grounded gorgeous ship with, the ocean up close and intimate. My room was lovely! The bathroom clean and a nice blend of eco modern. I absolutely loved my stay and will be back!

Fantastic location, comfortable rooms, amazing view.

Personnel who could not care less about customer service. Poor selection of food.. You have to repeat 3 times the same thing. No one bothers to improve the service despite repeated comments. Service spoils the stay.

Views from the room were superb and easy access to private beach and nearby bar. Pool was great for relaxation and the location is perfect for visiting nearby Tayrona Park

Some parts of the buildings are looking old, tired and need attention. Breakfast was ok but could be improved.

Because of the location there were sometimes spiders in my room but the staff got rid of them for me.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Barlovento Hotel. The value for the price is incredible. The rooms were very clean and spacious, and the large pool was a highlight. With fewer guests, the hotel never felt crowded, and the common areas were perfect for relaxing. The Wi-Fi was good throughout our stay, allowing us to watch football online and get some work done. Although there were occasional hiccups, the connection was generally reliable. The food was tasty, with a diverse menu offering plenty of options. Breakfasts were especially delicious. Ordering dinner a couple of hours in advance ensured it was ready on time. We spent four days just hanging out and chilling at the hotel. Despite not speaking Spanish, we communicated easily with the staff using Google Translate. The area felt safe and is conveniently close to Tayrona Park. The hotel has its own small private beach, though getting to the beach required navigating steep stairs. and you can also walk to the nearby Los Angeles Beach, which is very long and beautiful. The massages we had were also decent. Janet at the reception was amazing, and all the staff went out of their way to make our vacation enjoyable. Highly recommend Casa Barlovento Hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

The food was absolutely amazing… every meal we ate was delicious… without fail. The private beach was nice, the pools were clean, the room was super comfortable, the staff took excellent care of us.

I wish there was an ATM closer than a 30 minute drive.

We stayed in Casa Barlovento after the four day Lost City trek. It was the perfect place for rest and relaxation. The staff were adorable and there was a wonderful atmosphere about the place. A real retreat and highly recommended.

We loved Casa Barlovento! The views are incredible, the layout of the hotel allows for a lot of privacy. The pool is fantastic and the access to private beach down below is really incredible. It’s a wonderful location to spend the day relaxing. The rooms were clean, the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious and we had all that we needed. There are comments about “slow service” but when we asked to eat at a certain time, they were glad to accommodate. Just need to plan ahead, as they do not have 24/7 kitchen.

The location is great the views unbeatable

The service of the hotel staff was not great there was one woman that seemed to like her job the other server was or seemed very interested in being elsewhere Paying the price for the hotel which was not cheap it ruins the experience when you have to deal with unhappy staff so therefore will not recommend or be back

The property is exceptional. Beautiful room and gorgeous location. Extremely quiet and peaceful. This place is magical!

The view is beautiful the staff accommodate us in another room because the reserve one was smelling like sewage, good service is accommodation to set up chairs on the beach

Not enough staff Karen was the receptionist, the bar attender, the waiter and everything else we need it.

The views, beach and pool were unmatched but the staff was incredible; everyone was so professional and friendly.
