How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewThis hotel exceeded my expectations in every sense. Location is very great, just off the highway and near the Armenia airport. The grounds are beautifully kept, and the "sendero" walking path is magical. The pool and jacuzzi were perfect and restaurant food was delicious. This is a must visit hotel if you're in the area. One of the staff picked fruit from their trees for a family member at 10pm because they knew she might want some. Simply fantastic service.
The only area of improvement was the high humidity in our room. I don't know if it may have been because we didn't work the A/C correctly, but it made of a bit of a humid room. The bathroom could also use some additional ventilation to prevent high humidity. Really a minor minor nit.

Verified reviewThe facilities, staff, service, location were all excellent and well above what would be considered the norm for that part of Colombia. Wash clothes, hair dryers, air conditioning and hair conditioner were all provided, which is much more than I would normally expect at a hotel at this location. All services were provided by a very caring staff. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated and very clean. My friends were able to come and visit me and order food (the food was quite good) and drink from the hotel restaurant and bar. Unfortunately, one of my friends had suffered an injury on a previous excursion and had to be taken to the ER. The staff was very helpful and professional in assisting her. When she came back to the hotel later in the day, they were very kind and helpful. Great location, close to the bus stop. I would choose this hotel over the higher-end corporate hotels any time.
I honestly can say that there was really nothing that was lacking. My friends and I rented four rooms and we were all very satisfied with the service that we received.

We put more than 2 years of effort in its construction with highly qualified professionals and we have received good comments from other clients who have stayed in luxury hotels. Maybe the room was not to your liking because it was for 3 people and you arrived with 4, but we still tried to accommodate. 2. Smoking is prohibited in our rooms. A guest may have dropped something at some point. We have reinforced the cleanliness in response to your comment. 3. We always leave spare toilet paper in the rooms. We regret that we did not change the toilet paper for you because you did not want the room cleaned. 4. Our sheets and duvets are 500 and 400 thread count respectively, purchased from an exclusive store. This is the first time we have received a negative comment about this. Verified reviewThis is a brand new hotel, for what you get its great. However, it is missing some of the items they are describing. There is no spa, and not fitness facility that is stated on their website.
Restaurant staff could use some additional training. For example, they would bring one set of silverware, yet we are a family of 4. They are working out the kinks.

From the moment we arrived, the warmth and friendliness of the staff were immediately noticeable, setting the tone for a stay defined by exceptional hospitality. They truly go above and beyond, making guests feel valued and pampered throughout their stay. We were celebrating my father's 78th birthday and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Traditional breakfast is included. A ride on a TukTuk is a must for a quick ride from Armenia Airport to the hotel. Thanks, David, Alex, Luisa, Zully, Carolina, Valentina, Kevin, Ivan, and other staff members. You all really made us feel like family. We hope to see you again in the near future.
