Hard to think of anything apart from having had to leave. I just have two suggestions: breakfast items could be more varied (different fruits, for example). And it would be nice to see the restaurant reopen.

This was my third stay in 13 years and it continues to be my favorite hotel in Colombia. Not only is the charming traditional building beautifully restored and the (warm) pool a blessing in the sweltering heat of Mompós, but the rooms are equally beautiful. The bed is fantastic, the bathroom modern and there is a jacuzzi on the rooftop terrace that you can book for one hour a day. All the staff are simply wonderful, many of whom have been around since before my first stay, which also says something about this place. Any wish or request is taken care of immediately. The hotel (just like the whole town) is very quiet, unless there happens to be a party. The breakfast is very good quality. Once you leave the hotel, you are in the heart of the historic center of town with nice restaurants, shops and cafés. The location is prime.

Our experience at Bioma Hotel was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the incredibly friendly staff, who made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel itself is set in a stunning colonial home, beautifully preserved and full of charm. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and a great place to unwind after exploring Mompox. One of the highlights of our stay was Rosa at the reception—she went above and beyond to help us organize tours with reliable and knowledgeable local guides, making our trip even more special. The swimming pool was a huge plus, especially after long walks in the intense heat—it was the perfect way to refresh and relax. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and serene, offering a true escape from the outside world. Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious and traditional breakfast, a great way to start our day. We truly loved everything about Bioma Hotel and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mompox!

The structure of the building meant sound from the street travelled up to our room. On our second evening, there was a party going on downstairs after 10pm. Every culture is different but we are used to hotels having quiet time from 9/10pm onwards. I don't normally do this but actually went downstairs to let the staff know we couldn't sleep. They turned the music down accordingly and the party left shortly after. We appreciated the response but it would have been nice if we, as paying guests, didn't have to ask.

We loved everything.

The service was excellent! Everyone was so nice and ready to help us with anything we needed. The jacuzzi was amazing. Breakfast was also so healthy and delicious. The rooms were super clean and everything was perfect. I would definitely stay at Bioma again!

Is not something bad but the bedroom was a little simple (except for the door and window which are perfecr). For a place this nice I hope they can add a bit more original decoration or something to match the preserved style of the building and town.

The patio, the pool, the vegetation, the rooftop for sunset! The bar-restaurant they are building is a great place to even go to relax or work and the stuff was super nice and helpful. One last thing: the extremely old key for the bedroom! such a nice thing to keep!

Las ventanas y puertas de las habitaciones dejado abiertos hasta que llegan los huéspedes. Entonces entran insectos. Recibí varias picaduras. Es posible arreglar esto sin químicas. The windows and doors of the rooms are left open until the guests arrive. As a result insects enter the room. I received various bites. It's possible to resolve this problem without chemicals.

No hot water and spotty wifi. First night water was not cold but not warm. 2nd night water was luke warm. Staff tried to manage but not successful.

The room did not have a safe or a table to sit at. Also, the air conditioner turned off automatically sometimes during the night so that I would wake up in a seat as it was very hot. The personnel did not speak any language other than Spanish

The breakfast did not include cereal which is basic to my diet.. otgerwise it was a rich and lvely breakfast
