How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewthe stay was great. the host personally showed us the apartment and how to get there. the apartment itself was very clean, the view was amazing, and the decor was really nice. everything you might need was available in the apartment. the location was also perfect—about 8 minutes to the metro station, 3 minutes from raffles city shopping mall, and also jiefangbei pedestrian street. the host gave us local recommendations for food, things worth seeing, and responded to every question we asked.

Verified reviewThe owner, Mike, is helpful and very tidy. The apartment consists of several apartments, on the 35th floor. Sometimes you have to wait a long time for the elevator. The view is amazing, the city center is just a hop away. The easiest way to get there from the airport: - Buy a 4-day ticket at the metro station - Take the metro to the "Xiaoshizi" stop (Line 1 or 6) - Walk a few meters

They payment must to be done by an up, that me as European found hard to pay, also you must to give a deposit of 300 extra. We found a HUGE cockroach at middle of the night coming from the room and go to the kitchen. This is absolutely disgusting! The flat is NOT like in the pictures. The building is old, and the apartment too, you cannot apreciate the views like in the pictures because the window is dirty. We must to leave the flat in the middle of the night and went to a new hotel. I kindly ask for the refund travelling with my mum and we left the flat at the middle of the nigh.

The rooms were clean and communication with owner was good. The photos on the site gave us a different impression of the apartment.
The lobby was rundown and not clean, smells of cigarettes smoke. The lift takes a long time.

The deposit was taken when we paid, days before arriving and then return was promised the same evening of check out, after leaving town and in reality ate into several holiday hours trying to get back, finally having to ask a hotel staff to personally receive the refund for us

Verified reviewIt was in a Central location of the city. Plenty of restaurants around and witjin walking distance to let sightseeing sites. It is located opposite of the pier for river cruise so that is a plus. The host was active and responded quickly to our queries. Overall the rooms were clean, but dated. The view from the rooms were great but the windows were very dirty. For the price and location it is good value for money is you can look past some areas.
The building itself is old and not very clean. The lobby needs a wash and there were litter. The life is very slow. The apartment isn't your typical expectation of an apartment. There is no hall, except a small space with stools. The rooms are dormitory style, which means each person would have a key to enter Our booking was for 2 dates, as we were in Chengdu in between. On our return, the host told us that there will be other occupants in the apartment, which we said no. He then moved the guests away. On the final night there was no hot water. The weather was cold! The photos in the site were a bit misleading as not all are from the same unit. We suspect the host has a few units that he rented out.

It can't be cancelled, which may be an important reason why the guests gave a bad evaluation.But please understand that everyone should abide by the rules. Besides, our building is the most prosperous place in Chongqing. I would like to remind all the guests once again that our river view room with bathtub is a single bed room.This guest´s reservation is for our three rooms.There is no bathtub in the big room. Some buildings need to be swiped with elevator cards, but don't worry, there are people on duty 24 hours a day in the lobby downstairs to help you swipe cards, and at the same time we have prepared elevator cards for every guest in the room. Verified reviewThe location was good! We were a bit confused as to where it was at first but the locals showed us the way. The rooms are spacious and had spectacular views. Each room had it's own bathroom and a projector that you can mirror from your phone! The beds were big and spacious with warm blankets (these were great since it was Winter when I travelled). The owner was very accommodating and helpful! He provided us with a list of places to visit and promptly replied to and fixed any issues that we had. I messaged him about a wifi connection issue and he came out to solve it within a few hours! Very friendly and had a fantastic conversation. Thank you again for sharing this place with us!

Verified reviewClean and spacious rooms. Booked two single rooms one was equipped with a full kitchen and both had washing machines which was great. Great location and around a 15 walk to hongya cave attraction. Building has restaurants, convenience stores and tour booking.
Was rather difficult to find the location but for future travellers get to the river side and it'll be one of the three tall towers as seen on one of my photos. Room did not match the advertised bathtub with a view. It did have a great river view but just know they have a selection of rooms in the three towers which all have different arrangements and styles.

Verified reviewThe owner did not refund me the 200CNY he charged as a deposit and did not refund me the 3 nights I did not stay at the place due to the bad energy of the environment.

Verified reviewVery convenient and walkable distance to 洪崖洞 and 解放碑. There’s a lot of convenient stores and eateries around the area. The stay was clean and big. There’s the basic amenities in the stay such as washer, microwave, electric kettle, mini fridge and more. The staff also provided us disposable towels, toothbrushes and slippers too. We enjoyed our stay as the staff and owner were very friendly and prompt with the replies. During our stay one of the lights were out and almost immediately the owner went to get it repaired. Really thankful for their hospitality.
Other than the bed was abit hard to our liking, the stay was pretty good.
