Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaThe café in the lobby, the deserts are overpriced but not up to the Ritz quality standards. The concierge uses an app to call taxi for guests. The fee I paid to the hotel was double compared to what my friends did without using the hotel's app. I am okay with the hotel charge a service fee,just not double or triple.
The mall connected to the hotel has everything: an upscale supermarket, great restaurants. The Italian restaurant Bosco inside the hotel is fantastic.

United KingdomIt’s a long walk from any of the underground stations. We’d booked for 3 people (booking.com said our 15yo could stay free) but when we arrived we found we had to pay another £50 per night for him to actually have a bed. Fortunately we were in a position to pay this, but we might have come unstuck.
Absolutely beautiful hotel. Comfortable, luxurious and clean. We had a top floor corner room and it was exceptional. Excellent pool and gym facilities.

Russia1. I warned the hotel in advance that I would arrive before 14:00. The hotel replied to me that it does not guarantee that the room will be ready sooner. I waited from 12 to 14 o'clock in the hotel lobby. After waiting for 2 hours, I went to see if the room was ready. But the room they wanted to provide us with a beautiful view on the 16th floor will be ready only in a few hours. At the moment, we could check into the same room, but on the 9th floor. The flight from Russia to China is very long, I was with a child, and we really wanted to sleep. We have to chose a room that was already ready. 2. The hotel is also quite far from the metro. It is inconvenient to walk to it.
I liked the hotel. The room is comfortable. Everything you need is available. Foos is good. Staff are nice.

ItalyJust a few little suggestions to improve your excellent service: I've stayed at Ritz Carlton Niseko (Hokkaido, Japan) and they offer a great selection of free snacks and drinks in every room, which Beijing Ritz Carlton has not; plus the breakfast buffet was always out of smoked salmon and of some flavors of fresh fruit juices.
Great hotel as it's always the case with Ritz-Carlton. We'll certainly come back.

PakistanThe moment you enter the hotel, you get the feeling of no professionals working there, which you would expect in a 5-star hotel or at least the Ritz-Carlton expectation. All the way from receptionist to housekeeping and waiters are least bothered and make you realise never stay again,
Only the location of the hotel is something to look forward to. Rest it is not Ritz Carlton standard. I have travelled to 42 countries and nowhere has my luggage ever been mishandled. For the first time in my life such an incident has occurred where USD 1500 was stolen from my briefcase. I stayed here for two nights, on my second day I was scheduled to leave for airport at 03:00 hours, so practically half day stay, the hotel management was aware of my departure time and so was the housekeeping as I was repeatedly asked by both the receptionist and the housekeeping lady. However, on the day I had to leave, I went for shopping, during that time the room was cleaned. By the time I was leaving I checked, and 1500 USD was missing from by briefcase. Upon sharing all this with the hotel management, I am getting generic email replies with an investigation which is clearly for the face saving of this hotel. Please do not think of this as Ritz-Carlton, its shi*s Carlton.
