    Nothing, it’s perfect.

Everything at this hotel is amazing! Pools, service, value for money and proximity to the airport. Coming back in a week as a day was not enough!

Breakfast was not delicious for the western travellers, the food was for locals, not international. Location was far from the touristic places. Airport is too close and really noisy, during the night you can hear airplanes landing and taking off until 3:30 am.

We reserved a mini room with the airport view, so we could hear very well landing and taking off plains. We spent only a night ther, so it was not a problem for us, but if you are going to stay here for a longer period you'd better to reserve a room with a sea view.

Location near the airport. Luxuriant extended beach is near the hotel. If the sea beach does not suite you you may use a spacious swimming pool with a bar. Helpful and friendly staff at the reception.

The hotel is very good. It is close to the airport. The staff is really friendly although they don't speak English but they try to help you at all times through a translator. They had a lovely detail with me and gave me a cake for my birthday. Many thanks to all the staff but especially to the receptionist who do the check-in and the bellboy who helped us a lot.

    Not a thing

This is not the second time I have stayed at this hotel, and once again I am sure that this is the best hotel on the Sanya Bay coast. The hotel is located on the first line, and therefore within a two-minute walk there is a beautiful beach with a very good entry into the sea. In China, hotels usually do not provide sun loungers on the beach, so it’s nice to “warm your bones” on the sun-warm sand. If someone wants to hide from the sun under an umbrella, there is a great opportunity to relax in the shade and swim in the nice hotel pools. There are fantastic foam parties for children in the pool. In the mornings, the hotel offers a variety of breakfasts in the style of Pan-Asian and European cuisine. After breakfast, you can go to the hotel’s mini-zoo and treat Borka the goat to a banana. In the evening, you can enjoy a great dinner outdoors, listening to live music and cooking delicious dishes yourself in a boiling saucepan. I was facing the airport and on the first day there were a lot of planes. They give you earplugs. I will say though, that about midnight the planes seemed to mostly stop or not bother me anymore. For some reason people were still letting off fireworks after midnight on the first day I was there. Kind of annoying. I do not think it was in this hotel though. I guess this can't be helped in China during Spring festival. On another two mornings there was a garbage truck that came at 6 am. I fell asleep again after but it was kind of annoying. I am a light sleeper, but mostly I got a good sleep there.

I thought the breakfast was excellent. I have read reviews of the breakfast not being so great. I do not know what these people are talking about. There are an immense amount of options for breakfast. Almost everything you could want. It's a fabulous breakfast and it was free with the booking that I made. Also, it's easy to get around using the buses and using Didi. If you are foreign and don't know you to use Alipay or WeChat to use these, you should look up how to do it. Also it's easy to use Hello Bikes to go to anywhere close, quickly. Using Apple maps will also help you find out buses to all the major attractions. Everything is extremely convenient. It takes a long time to travel to some places so it depends on whether you want to see the sights or just relax in the hotel and on the fabulous beach just in front of it, which goes on for 20 Km's. The evening Buffet meal is also quite good. Many options. I would say it's a little expensive if you are not drinking alcohol (which is free) but it's still so convenient. On the Sunday there was a massive discount on the price. Well worth it then.

City of Sanya is somewhat far from the hotel. Bus stop is nearby, but buses are a bit inconsistent and stop running quite early, so travel back to hotel from city is usually by a taxi.

Great staff, that speaks some english, great amenities, nice swimming pool, sea is 2 minute walk from hofel. Room was clean and very nice. Breakfast was very good. Rooms were sound proof enough so that airport nearby would not be a problem for sleep.

I didn't expect there to be so many families so my poolside wear wasn't appropriate to be worn by the pool around the little children. I ended up not using the pool at all, unfortunately.

The room was very comfortable and cleaned only when requested. I was greeted by Chinese music when I first arrived which was a very nice and welcoming touch. The buffet had very extensive options and the food was delicious.

Wifi was poor in our room. The pool and grounds were nice but overall service was not great, for instance, a maid insisted on trying to clean our room before we were ready. Not much to do in the area. I was one of the only English speaking tourists and this proved challenging (though this might be a problem with Hainan in general).

Breakfast buffet was OK but quite expensive. A good choice of dishes.

Specifically, twice, asked (and was promised) to have an early check-in. We had a 12-hour flight, and we were tired and jet lagged. But the stuff just keeps on saying: check in is at 3.30pm (we arrived at 7am). They don't want you at the hotel, they don't need you! It cost us a fortune to get there for the Chinese New Year, but it's like they don't give a sh*t. You paid that all that matters. Anything else is not their business. Not a single person speaks English. All conversations go through Google Translate. Which is ridiculous. It's a 5-star hotel (3+ in fact). Also: we pre paid breakfasts. And we didn't have them! Why? THEY DONT SEE THAT WE PAID IN THEIR PROGRAM! I showed them my recipe from booking, and they just looked at me and kept on repeating: we don't have this info on our program. And that's all they didn't even try to help or investigate. THEY DONT CARE. hotel don't have private beach. No sun beds on the beach, no cafes or toilets. Pools smell chlorine af! Also very crowded, very few sunbeds at the pool, all occupied by locals. They are near to no places to eat around. Don't expect anything fancy. Closest location 15 minutes walk. No shops, no taxis, nothing. AND WHEN YOU ASK FOR HELP NOONE CARES. I dunno, mb cos we were whites. Literally, THE WORST experience in my entire life. Food overpriced. Very few options.

Basically, nothing. Everything you see on the pictures and everything promised by the hotel is bs. No one meets you at the lobby. It's like you don't exist. All the pre-paid features like early check-in and breakfasts we didn't have. Why? They just say we don't see you ordered it. I show them papers - they don't care, it's not ON THEIR LIST. Oh, no one, NOT A SINGLE PERSON speaks English. Just FYI.

Poor facility in room. Fridge didn’t work for top end suite, asked to change to another fridge, it didn’t work either. No cold drinks or fruit for 3 days. No reliable wifi. No working power plugs on some of the ports. Not much variety at breakfast.

No english! No western food. Nothing to eat while the hotel restaurant is closed, and closes early. When I did the check in they gave me a occupied room, someone was still there. 😱 I came down with the helper and they changed the room, there was NO apologies or upgrade for the situation.

The wifi was a little spottier than I had hoped, so while a great place to relax it's not as great a place to get some work done. The food options on-site were fine, so long as you don't mind eating the same thing every day

It's tough to beat the value - a resort feel with not-so-resort prices. The room had a view of the water and a big balcony, so a great place to relax. The staff was very helpful, especially the concierge team.

The service does not feel like a 5 star hotel. There is no room service early in the morning before 10 or late after 23:30. Every service has to be paid in advance and you cannot charge the room and pay when you leave. They did not deliver my laundry because I was not in the room and I could not pay for it, they should have just left it there and charged me afterwards. This felt very cheap on their side. Nobody speaks English in the property so beware, you need some Chinese to get by.

Great location but far from anything, if you plan on staying in the property and relaxing, it’s great. If you want to visit Sanya centre it’s about 25 minutes by taxi.
