I rarely write hotel reviews, but the Radisson Collection Shanghai truly deserves one. They went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs and were unfailingly kind and helpful throughout our stay. From the front desk to the bellboys, the housekeeping team, and the swimming pool and gym staff, every single person made us feel welcome. I don’t know who the General Manager is, but it’s clear they’re doing an outstanding job leading this team.

The hotel truly deserves its 5 stars. Our room was spacious and elegant, with a super comfortable bed, a lovely bathtub, and an unforgettable view over the city. Breakfast offered everything one could wish for, with fresh, delicious options for every taste. The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming, making us feel cared for throughout our stay. Every detail—from the comfort of the room to the breathtaking panorama—contributed to an excellent and memorable experience.

Gorgeous property in a great location. Staff was incredibly patient and kind. They went out of their way to find some packages my aunt had sent me without a room number on them. The complimentary juice and wontons were delicious! Housekeeping was lovely too.

It would’ve been nice if the fresh juice had been available throughout the whole breakfast time.

We stayed in a Business Class room and liked it — super clean and spacious. The room even had a hot tub, which was a nice surprise! Breakfast was great too, with lots of variety, fresh-squeezed juice, and tasty dishes made by the chefs. The surrounding garden was beautiful, and getting around from the hotel was super easy and affordable by taxi (we used the DiDi app). The entire staff was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The hotel also has a gym, a spotless sauna, and a nice swimming pool — all really well-maintained.

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, clean, great location with a garden in a quiet neighbourhood, breakfast rich and varied, the entire staff extremely helpful. We arrived in the morning after an 11 hours flight and we get our room at 10 a.m. Also, the concierge helped us to book tickets for attractions from chinese sites. The pool was a plus. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Nice location in it’s own grounds. Close enough to walk into the French concession area. The rooms are very nice, huge bed, well appointed bathroom with a huge bath and Molton Brown toiletries supplied. Some international channels on the TV if you want to watch any. The breakfast buffet is lovely, if a little expensive for China. Staff were very attentive and the concierge can organise trips and visits if you want that. We didn’t need to use this service as we just used Didi cars to move around Shanghai. We booked our own River cruise and Shanghai tower visit using C trip. The photo was the view from our window and you can see Shanghai tower in the distance - the French Concession is in the foreground.

Nothing, the stay was great!

- The hotel is tucked away from the roads and city center, making it quieter and more pleasant, but still convenient to get around anywhere. - The staff were friendly and ready to assist at any time. They were also able to communicate in several languages and help with bookings on apps. - We stayed on the Madam Li floor and the room was pristine and spacious. They also have a private lounge on that floor with drinks and a rest area. - The amenities were also outstanding. We had a late return flight and had complimentary access to their fitness center after checking out so that we could freshen up and rest in a private room.

We really like this hotel. It’s located in a great area with plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. The breakfast is excellent, offering a wide variety of options—including delicious Chinese specialties we loved, along with many other choices. We also really enjoyed the Chinese restaurant at the hotel. The staff are exceptionally kind and very helpful

Our corridor smelled of cigarette smoke one day (but this did not affect our room). Breakfast was busy at peak times, there was a queue to get in (but staff did ensure we were seated comfortably and did not overcrowd tables).

Lovely hotel surrounded by a large garden and a leafy, clean neighbourhood. We had fun exploring the safe, clean streets and discovering small boutiques, restaurants, bars. The hotel was in a central location that made it easy to explore Shanghai. We had a comfortable, large room with a lovely view. Staff were excellent and and on the whole spoke good English. Breakfast had lots of choice and we had tasty room service one night.

Nothing really. If I'm really picky, one thing can be improved is the daily compliment welcome room-service food: at the moment dumpling is the only option. It'd be great if 1-2 more options can be added, such as noodles.

The location is perfect--right at the heart of Shanghai. The property locates in a historical garden, which is very beautiful and rich in history to explore.

Room service menu was very limited and the food was not that good from this menu. Li Palace - the Chinese restaurant within the property was a big letdown in comparison to my last visit there, however the service was exceptional the food not so much.

Floor 8 lift lobby and corridor, smell of smoking is very strong for the two days stay.. if someone smoked why fire alarm didn’t be triggered ? I requested for floor 12 woman exclusive rooms but didn’t get too.

All good especially like the mattress and pillow, not those too soft one.

The overall location of the hotel in the French Concession is great, but it is a bit of a walk (10-15 minutes) to the nearest metro station. Be prepared to DiDi/taxi a lot if you stay here!

Our room was modern, quiet and very comfortable. The hotel staff was prompt and helpful and the facilities were easy to make use. The location in the French Concession is also great, a very walkable part of Shanghai with beautiful architecture all around. Breakfast was a little bit pricey but had many options and was overall very tasty.

This is the first time that I had to stand in line and waited for breakfast but talked to the reception and they will improve. But It was a really nice stay with a lot of memories.

Great location, great hardware. I was raised in this area and when I was a kid the location where the big building stands was the cool store. This area represents a important part of shanghai's history. There were some jujube trees cross the street. Collecting and eating fresh jujubes on a summer night was my favourite activity.
