How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Really spacious rooms, nice pool for kids with a slides and ninja warrior track. Kids really enjoy that.

The rooms we had were on the third floor and the balcony was directly above the all-day dining restaurant so it was noisy especially in the morning. The condition of the room was rather old, but the bedsheets were clean.
The breakfast spread was good, both western and eastern cuisines were available. There were lots of facilities available to both young and old. We also liked the Chinese restaurant at basement level which served nice and affordable food.

We had a room with a kitchen, but there were no dishes except for tea cups. I would have liked to have plates and cutlery in the cupboard.
Location, staff, service, territory, pool, cleanliness in the room and in public areas - everything was magnificent. It's easy to get to the center by taxi or Didi. I would be happy to come back again.

Got sick. Manager said I must have eaten something bad outside hotel. Only thing that day I ate was supplied breakfast before sick,. Had food out in room . May have been sprayed in error by cleaning staff. Had to get friend to talk to staff. As they ignore me. Fancy evening restaurant, everything was oily or small portion. Even got room wrong for what I was supposed to get

The hotel amenities and furnitures are super old and outdated. I was extremely disappointed upon checking in. For the price we paid I was unsatisfied with the hotel rooms, swimming pool, and breakfast. Breakfast is extremely busy every morning. You literally have to wait for a table to finish eating, in order to get a table. The breakfast itself is passable, mainly Chinese dishes, pretty much the same every day. Cleaning was okay, the bedsheets and towels were good. However, the 2nd bathroom's shower was only a shower head right next to the toilet seat, which was extremely disappointing. The beach is right across the street.
The hotel is close to the airport.

Can't find fault!
It's been a month and our group of 6 are still praising how great n spacious our family suite were. Service efficient, breakfast in particular.. Excellent! Beach is right across e road, eataries surrounded with restaurant. Good location.

Currency exchange isn't available. Safety absence is all around. Slippery floor everywear. In pool they drive sup boards over your head. No beachtowels for mattresses on those wooden chaise lounges, that're partially rotted away. People use bath robes or their clothes instead. A lot of mosquitoes or like that, they bite you everywhere all day long. In bathroom there is mold. The tropical shower and additional watering head are faulty and leaky. No chaise lounges at the beach at all. Too far from Bank and mobile phone sales department, need taxi.
Fish in pool for pedicure. Two pools are available. Easy access to the beach. Breakfasts that won't you let struggle with hunger for a couple of hours. Pies at snack bar are finger licking. Room service is every day, plenty of drinking water. Comfy at night under air conditioner. Upon arrival, the guy who helps open the taxi door was friendly and lent their local currency to pay for the taxi. Since there is no place to change currency in the airport’s domestic terminal, and everything is closed in the international terminal. Taxi drivers do not accept dollars and international cards such as visa and mastercard.

Check-in staff were cold (no greeting, no smile). We booked for 6 adults and 1 child (aged 7) including breakfast but were told that breakfast was not included for the child and we had to pay extra. Despite showing my booking.com confirmation email stating breakfast was included for us all, staff said they could not accommodate this and to contact booking.com to resolve. Eventually the receptionist agreed to give breakfast as booked, but this was an issue every morning with restaurant staff with whom we had to argue. The final morning we had to leave at 5am to catch a flight and staff advised they would prepare us take-away breakfast boxes. Upon check-out we were told we were not entitled to these as the child had had breakfast every day. Breakfast issue was farcical and reception staff had no sense of customer service. Room was dirty on arrival although housekeeping did a good job during our stay. On-site restaurant very expensive.
Hotel is close to airport (10 min drive) and opposite beach. Housekeeping staff were lovely. Porter helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and plenty of toiletries.
