Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesHotel is a bit older but everything works fine.
Location is great! There is subway station right outside of the hotel, really convenient and easy to go anywhere. Breakfast are all around the hotel, there is Mr. Lee, good breakfast just across the street from hotel. There is no coin laundry available, even if Baidu says there is one around the hotel, it's dry clean and the owner wasn't that friendly. Tiananmen Square and forbidden city are close by. On the opposite side, there is popular shopping spot.

We booked this hotel for 1 night before our tour began (we stayed 3 nights with the tour). Location was good - many of the big attractions are within walking distance of the hotel. The breakfast was good with plenty of variety.

SingaporeMy hotel room reeks of smoke smell, which I believe is from the central ventilation system. And the rooms were hot, yet we were unable to bring down the temp with the thermostat in the room. It seems to be centrally controlled. Not ideal.
The hotel is located in a very good location, with a few big shopping malls within walking distance. There is also a subway station conveniently located at the front of the hotel, which makes travelling around Beijing easy. Hotel breakfast offers a wide variety of intercontinental & local cuisines, which is value for money.

RomaniaThere is a constant cigarette smell throughout the hotel, but not surprising seeing so many smokers around. There was some issue to fix I guess and a maintenance guy showed up at my door @11pm . I think he was given a wrong room number.
Very good location, Chongwenmen Line 2& 5 brings you right in front of the hotel , if you follow exit A2. Hotel looks ok, , clean, with very posh lobby. Very comfortable bed and pillows with different level of softness. Food was OK, seems expensive in rapport with prices around but OK if comparing to Europe. I had some issues at the checkin with the receptionist who got flustered by the different price shown of booking and the one she just charged. Thick , Chinese accent, which made communication extremely difficult, seemed to get confused more when tried to use the translator gadget. I didn’t understand at the time what was going on as I asked her to help me with a SIM card issue. She asked help from the nearby colleague, which didn’t want to get involved. She than went at the back and brought another staff, maybe her boss? When I saw her name , I knew she’ll sort out everything. I saw in reviews before the name Julia coming up, which is an absolute godsend. Julia is absolutely fantastic, her English is flawless, she sorted out all the issues and made sure I have her on the WeChat to contact her if I need any help. Her help is invaluable for foreign tourists.

IndonesiaWe dissapointed about deposit policy. Due to very busy big group check in on Sat Feb 1, 2025, when the reception asks for deposit, due to language barrier, we were suggested to deposit via our credit cards from direct hotel booking. When check out Feb 3, we did not obtain written receipts on the excess of the deposit charge to credit cards. While previously, we obtained hotel receipts that was charged from booking.com. The response from the reception was take it or leave it. Very dissapointed.
One of the best strategic locations in city central. MRT station in front of the hotel as well as various shopping malls and michelin level cafe and noodle restaurants. Not far from Beijing Central Station. Our executive twin bed room was very good.⁰0

SingaporeThe air-con unit programmed for warm air during winter period; hence we have to switch off the air-con unit and borrow a fan from the hotel for ventilation in the room.
Location: right in front of the metro station and walking distance to many places of interest. Accessible to many malls (opposite the hotel) and local eateries.
