Curtains did not work and needed repair. Same for toilet. Access to the swimming pool only possible with swim/haircap.

The room turn pitch dark for a few seconds.

The spacious room, the comfort. Spacious and separate bathtub, shower and toilet room, and they provide new individual small bottle of body wash, shampoo and conditional everyday. Nice interior environment, art and nature with a touch of class. Nice swimming pool, warm water in 2 areas.

Very nice location, very nice area. The hotel is nature friendly, arty, spacious, bright and very comfortable. And the breakfast has a wide selections of verieties. It is not the best hotel but my favorite hotel in Shanghai.

The very kind gesture of upgrading me to a better room. Big, spacious, nice and clean room. Big spacious clean luxurious bath room, separate toilet, shower place, and separate bath tub and tv in the bathroom. Love the japanese type of toilet seat... Love the bed and pillow Love the breakfast Love the arty environment of the place. Superb location, the subway station is just next to the hotel or under the hotel, and very near to the beautiful park.

Beautiful property in the heart of shanghai. The room was very spacious and well designed. All amenities were good. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.

The concierge staff was particularly helpful with taxis, communicating with vendors, helping to manage very large luggage. The breakfast offerings were massive and tasty - something for absolutely every taste. There is a lovey terrace that would be very enjoyable when the weather is cooler.

Air conditioning was suboptimal in our room facing the west (it was 39C outside), but hotel staff quickly switched us to another room, which was perfect. Hammam and sonna didn’t work properly.

Beautifully designed hotel with a nice garden. Spacious rooms. Good location and convenient to several metro lines. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Staff are very friendly. When we need extra towel and waters, they will deliver to our room.

Toilet cleanliness can be better especially bathtub can be cleaner. Shower area is too long and places to store the shampoo and shower gel are too far from shower area. Water discharge area is "black".

Strange kiosks and non-hotel owned businesses operating in lobby. Not very IHG-like. But the room was nice and comfortable. A very large twin room with a huge bathroom that had a shower and tub. If you can overlook that, you will be fine. The architecture seems to have won some kind of excellent design award.

The coffee maker, the water boiler were in a closed wooden cupboard, not practical at all. Air conditioner not able to control, rooms were freezing at night...

Absence of a bar where to relax at night. Breakfast can be improved.

Quiet and elegant. Nice comfortable and big rooms. I liked the touch of a Chinese traditional design of the furniture. Just on top of Metro station Line 1. Nice area in French concession.

My only negative was that the changing room for the gym / pool had a bit of a damp smell and quite a few flies were present in the showers etc, when I stayed at the same hotel a few years ago this was not an issue - it smelled very nice.

The rooom was very spacious, the bed so comfortable and the courtyard room very quiet, possible to sleep with open windows without any disturbance. Location was perfect for me, close to Shanghai Library, metro stop just in front of the hotel, direct to Shanghai railway station.

Air conditioning. No air con after midnight. Could not get to sleep well. Electricity stop during the night. Next day made a complaint. Counter staff very accommodating and understanding. Gave us fan. Letter from management that the air conditioning level is good when they investigate during the day. We have no issue of the air conditioning before midnight. It was cold before midnight. So we have no intention to revisit this hotel. Our friend feedback in Mar2024 also about the air conditioning issue. Despite the fan we didn't have good night sleep for the next 2 nights of our stay. As tourist we need good rest after long day. Very disappointing.

Buffet breakfast price for customers is reasonable. Food varieties acceptable.
