Hong Kongi had booked for 3 guests and chosen option for breakfast included.. but breakfast was included only for 2 guests and not 3 which i was not aware and not expecting. i had to pay for additional breakfast at hotel.

RussiaAircon is very noisy. Fortunatelly it was not very hot at night and I was able to sleep sleep without aircon. There is no iron but should be. Also some smell from aircon. Hotel looks a bit old.

CanadaThis property needs a serious updates ! 6 days stayed in a rotten carpeted room with terrible smell and stains along the walls. Complaint to staff at front desk, they finally changed us to another wooden floor room. Situation changed immediately since it had a big opened window, fresh air comes in easily. First few days was hot ( 25C ) inside the room, but thermostat was useless since they shut down the central air conditioning system when outside temperature was less then 20C. 😤 Thanks God that the weather temperature dropped later, so the rest of my 12 days there was OK afterward.
Staff were somehow helpful ( at least they tried their best to help ), but definitely friendly. All facilities were old but functionable ! Very big exercise room with 3 big pools. Free self serve laundry room, which is very handy.

I would say the service was excellent. The front desk lady was very professional and kind. Especially thanks to the F&B Director Mr. Raymond. I was surprised that his position still doing the service to the guest at the coffee shop. We were in a hurry to have a quick lunch before the meeting. Just asked him about the wine for lunch. ( we are wine professionals) He was very kind to let us taste it before confirming the order. After that the salad was delayed and we didn't have time to enjoy it. He offered us a small fruit plate to apologize for it.

United KingdomThere was a mix up with rooms with twin beds, which Booking.com allowed me to book that were not available when we got to the hotel resulting in us having to book another room at 200 CNY per night staying there for 3 nights. The other serious problem was that I was in the bathroom and the room door opened and a man walked in. I had to quickly brace myself against the door as I did not know who it was. After he closed the front door, I said to him to wait. When I got my clothes on he told me he was given this room. I followed him to reception to sort out this issue to find I had not been properly allocated this room when we checked in. I was then asked by the man at the desk to show my passport, which I refused as I had shown this for the other 2 rooms I had booked. He then cancelled the other man's card and gave him another room. When I then returned to my room, I found he had cancelled my room keys also, so I was unable to get into my room. Went back to reception and had to wait about 15 mins whilst he argued with other customers before I could get my cards reactivated. He apologised, but I was very angry about this mix-up and feeling unsafe which resulted in me putting the chain on everytime I entered the room. This does not give a good impression of Holiday Inn brand and I am unsure if I will stay in one again.
